The more I watch this season, the more I see just how evil Effie really is.
1. She was super jealous of Tariq and Diana so she told Diana he’s not good for her
2. Everytime Tariq brought up Lauren around Effie she would roll her eyes and change the subject
3. When Tariq told Effie what Lauren did she went and told Cane knowing that Cane didn’t like tariq and dosent care how he feels making it easy for Cane to kill Lauren
4. She lied to Tariq about it just so he wouldn’t chose Lauren over her.

Plus, Carrie definitely blackmailed that girl into wearing a wire, which put her in more danger. Tariq had a plan to get her out of town, which was ruined thanks to Effie's stupidly, jealousy and reckless behavior. Lauren is not a snitch and Effie is still a huge snake whose actions towards Lauren led Jenny making the RICO case
