    Spend the money on tutors & test prep instead of nannies, chefs and gardeners.

    The next shoe to drop will be if college or private school admissions officials give preference to applicants whose mothers are willing to try the Mama Gump approach.

    Aunt Becky's daughter didn't even want to go to usc or college at all.

    For Dan to say he didn't pay anything to the University for his daughter,is not totally true! You can make donations of any dollar amount and do it behind closed doors. No name just a donation and a conversation with the higher ups!! Not saying Dan did this but this can and does happen!!

    Take an interest in what they are doing in school. Stress how important it is be supportive or a hard ass depending on the situation.

    The sheer stupidity of this boggles the mind...as soon as you bribe somebody, you've bought a witness who will roll over on you whenever they get in trouble...which he did...good luck guys...of course, they've got $ lawyers so it's 50/50

      Matthew Jay Evans I agree 100% but imagine being wealthy & being groomed to think that you’re above the rest of the world, only to realize that you paid your way to the top.
      Then these celebrities have the nerve to try & lecture us
      Hypocrites

    You are missing the point of the why in many cases. The pressure on these actors/actresses often results in parents being on location away from their family for months at a time and/or the time commitment where they are working 12. 14. 16 hours a day. This is often guilt money because you can't give your kid time. More than usual many of these kids are raised by paid help and have limited contact with their parents. Again, guilt money. When you literally have more money than time some real awful things can happen.

    • @williambranham6249
      @williambranham6249 5 лет назад

      Jake I agree with your point. I would like to add that in addition to guilt money there is indirect peer pressure. Standing around at a cocktail party the question comes up about your child and where are they going to college. The answer for many is important.

    Social Media Bullying at it's finest...... and the internet at it's lowest..... Leave these families alone..... I've watched thousands of athletes attend elite colleges even tho no academically qualified.......while being paid secretly...... So this isn't a rich or race thing..... It's a people thing. They'd all do it....

    Desperate or not these parents don't get a pass in my book. They are equally to blame and maybe more so for the (failed) life lesson they just passed along to their kids. You are either an ethical, moral person or you are not. Not saying they are evil either, but morally corrupt never the less.

    • @shep68

      I think the point is clear enuf. Class was more at issue here than race. Anyway I get the intended sarcasm of “white people problems” but to suggest only white people lack character is beyond foolish. That was my point.

    The whole segment looked for justification for bad behavior all around. Shame on you all. You should be standing up against all parties rather than "understanding their silly justifications.
