I don't understand the appeal of a game that has you effectively starting from the beginning each and every time you die. Having to play through multiple room, blasting through cannon fodder before you can get to the point at which you died is just tedious. Save fighting the boredom, I don't see the challenge.

I bought the game the day it came out for $18. I haven't put it down since. It deserves a better score than 84% IMO. I don't know how you could beat $18 for the value and quality you are getting. I don't know how the graphics could be any better. Their perfect. The combo system took a couple plays to figure out but gives you a good sense of accomplishment when you pull off a good one. Just get the game.
how many different levels/comics are there? There were 2 in the demo and i completed them both. Im really hoping there's more than 3 though. Havn't heard many reviews mention the amount of content.
I dont know if you check comments on older vids, but I haven't been a sub/patron that long. so I haven't seen your entire library yet. I was just going through old vids looking for a few games to add to my library. don't know how I missed this game near it's release. I'm having a blast playing it. the weapon selection is excellent. a cast iron skillet for a powerful melee weapon! sadly, I have more time played on this game than I do in Monster Hunter: Rise, R- Type Final 2 and Persona 5. (I know, I know.) all that to say thank you for the recommendation.
Fury because it plays better and you will get more hours out of it and in my opinion more fun. Once Huntdown is over which is about 5 to 7 hour gameplay, there is little if any to go back and play.
This game is so good. Don't sit on the fence if you like anything like Binding of Isaac or dead cells or any of these types of games. Controls are great, great power up and weapons and modification of the hero and the comic book style is on point. I have over 100 hours and the runs are still just as fun

(Spoiler warning) ########### You actually can, after a few failed attempts in the epilogue an NPC shows up and offers you to go back in time in order to prepare yourself against the final boss :-)
I love this one, it's been my goto a lot since the demo and then release. I am a bit frustrated as I am still stuck on the first comic but it has rocked every second of the time spent with it. :D
My biggest suggestion is to focus on grenade upgrades and combo length upgrades first. I've made it to the least boss twice but i haven't beat them yet. Also master dashing
Hey if you never picked it up you totally should. I was kind of hesitant cuz I wasn't crazy about the art style at first and I don't like bullet-hell games but this has finally replaced dead cells for me. No other game was able to do that so far LOL
Good game but lacks things more levels endings choosing you're weapon better creation mode which the game has not got but perhaps for future games it will.
Tbh games was ruined by constant need to combo, the game tries to slow u down and u miss resources trying to keep combo going, didn't work well for me.
I dont even pay attention to the combos, theres just another cool addition to have but not necessarily a focus imo. You'll get combos without forcing them.
Fury unleashed weird ending can't speak no people to interact with terrible creation mode can't choose your'e weapons at menu only look at them not fun it's been a long time since i played this game beat the entire story nothing more to do features nothing new same layout and levels no extra music just what you get great game no but to be fair is good at first i had a shovel and bow which was ok but nothing special when i started moving i had a slow down delay lag like moment but when i switched modes it was gone weird wwe had a terrible creation system but at least there you had several choices.

In Comix Zone on Mega Drive/Genesis you played as the creator who was sucked into the comic by the comics villain.

Although its nothing like it but it oddly reminded me of Metal Slug.
The demo is pretty fun. Wish it had a soundtrack. They just added more sounds to the paid version though.
Pretty nice game.. one big drawback, when you reach the final comic, you can't return to earlier ones until you finished the game :(
