My daughter is 5 she adores her switch and both of those games. I'm a single solo dad and make way too much to be single so I spoil her a bit, so she has basically all games at this point and I can tell ya Mario kart 8. Kirby is a great choice. She ADORES goat simulator. Uhm....lessie....oh we had a blast playing Mario RPG. She can read now but before I taught her I just played with her and read it for her. Was a fun game to play together that was a favorite when I was young. Otherwise Yoshi's crafted world is a guaranteed hit. Hope those future ideas help :)

The Last Campfire is a beautiful game. Got it and played through a while ago. A no-brainer at this price. Puzzles, nice atmosphere, no combat. A beautiful experience. Alba was another I enjoyed. Golf Story might be one I pick up. Civilization maybe another, but I fear I'm not having the time to really get into it. Did love the very first one on DOS back in the day. BTW guys...don't say "Lumberjack"...now the song is stuck in my head. I'm a Lumberjack and I'm okay...
Civilization VI is so fun. I personally find it pretty challenging, even after watching a lot of guides online I still can't seem to win many games but I enjoy the gameplay. Only problem I keep having is that right at the end of the game it gets so laggy and it's rare I can actually officially finish a game because it crashes as soon as I try to do anything. I've won a few games now, but I can't actually finish the game officially so it's not recorded 😢 I mean, it's a really good game in terms of gameplay but this issue is so frustrating
Thing I like about Ori over Hollow Knight is it feels a lot more manageable the complete the main storyline and feel satisfied without having to sink a ton of hour ls into it. If you're looking for something to play for 100 hours then HK is the one but if your looking for a sit down and play over a week Ori was such a great experience
Your comments on Bloodstained show clearly you have not played the game on switch, or at least not recently. It is unplayable on switch even after the last patch with constant stutters and slowdowns from the beginning of the game ( and not just in the last part). People who could trust you might buy the game on sales and instantly regret it. I dont find that acceptable to speak about a game you haven't played more than 2hours for 3 years.
Good timing on this one. I have $20 from Christmas to spend on games, which at this time of year is 4-5 solid games to throw in the hole with all the other stuff I haven't played yet. 😂

I have not yet played an oled. I bet that first time is the best. Seeing it in an even better screen in handheld would just maximize playing the back log. If I do decide to get one I think I would give my nieces and nephews my old switch.

I'm happy to say the game crashing glitches in Bloodstained have been solved. The devs really cared to not say anything unless it was updates or reassurance so they read the responses and fixed the game as best as possible.

This blurriness issue. Is it when docked or even in handheld mode? And what about the performance? The frame rate, is it stuttery? Im really curious because i want to get this game for my switch someday.

Graphics were way crisper than before (blurry only during short dialogs scenes) BUT performance is insanely bad with constant stutters and slowdowns. Some areas are close to be unplayable. Never buy it on switch ! I had bought it on sales after patch 3 or 4 and I had never been able to play it long, due its ugliness. I had the feeling it ran a little bit better before. They improved the graphical aspect of the game,clearly, but the engine they are using hates the switch,obviously.

I've played Indivisible on PC. Great game, but the platforming elements in some areas can drive a person insane, that's how tough they can be XD Definitely recommend, especially at this price :)
