We booked icon of the seas for december 6th-13th 2025. Its gonna be our first cruise ever! We got a ocean view standard balcony for about 5100$ for 2 people total. Didnt prepay gratuities though but once i got the cruise paid off ill definitely call them and prepay it

You got a great deal we are booked in August doing a b2b in a balcony total $5600 this was booked oh the first day of cabin sale in October of 2022 my friend tried to book the same cruise the price was $5600 for one week when priced last October

I have to say, after one week on Icon I was tired of seeing all of the bloggers, vloggers, travel agents etc. If that's what pays the bills have at it, but recognize that while you are 'working' others are on vacation. We were asked each day by one of these folks if we would subscribe, like or scan their shirt. One day, a gent who I'd seen earlier in the cruise stopped me to ask why I had not yet subscribed? I hope Royal puts a stop to these overbearing folks who are just onboard to self promote.
I wouldn’t recommend going on an inaugural again, it comes with the territory. Royal Caribbean hires social media creators as a part of marketing. As far as people asking you to subscribe, that’s tacky. I didn’t see or hear anyone I know or saw on onboard doing that unless someone asked them how to follow them first. The irony of you consuming my cruise content and then complaining about the people who create this content is not lost on me. Have a better day.

If I wanted to review something, basket weaving, bee-keeping content is out there and I enjoy it and I'm happy for someone to make a few cents off of my clicks- everyone wins. The issue is the pushy folks tripping over each other to try to get their subs up, while others are enjoying a legitimate vacation. Point taken though, maybe inaugural cruises are a lot worse for these type activities.
How early did you book this cruise in advance? The price you got is unbelievably good. I priced out a random date in October of 2024 for oceanview balcony and it worked out to be about $4500usd/pp. That's $9000usd double occupancy. 😮Hell no!

@@jcsdesign hi! So, we got the “kids under 12 cruise free” deal. But, you still have to pay for the kids initial deposit. About $250 each. That covers the taxes and fees for the kids. For comparison, my bro is going and paid about $6000 for single occupancy balcony.
3111 for your balcony room is amazing! i bought in nov 2022, it was 3k for a 2 bedroom interior. i upgraded to a 3 bedroom interior in december 2022 with a view. JUMPED TO 6200!!!! AND I DONT SAIL UNTIL JULY LOL thank you for this! i’m even more excited to go 🥹
