      They're very durable. I've had mine for 6 months on 2 guitars. I wipe my fretboards after playing, also clean + oil condition them with stickers on. I've had no peeling at all. My Laurel fretboard needs oiling quite often, and the stickers are fine

    I was brainstorming on how to avoid the stickers edge to peel a bit during bending, sliding and vibrato. Super glue would be good but it would create a problem when reconditioning the board and keeping the board in good condition. I guess, if the stickers are cheap, you just keep replacing them as needed as they peel or get scarred. Thanks for the video and your insight.

    • @GuitarLegendvideos
      @GuitarLegendvideos  3 года назад +5

      Yes this is the only problem I've had, they do peel at the edges after a couple of weeks sometimes, though not always..
      The smaller stickers tend not to peel as much. The more intricate ones do I find.

    Thank you for the amazing tutorial, really helpful. I have one question - I was just lucky enough to get a unused 2017 Warwick CustomShop Masterbuilt Bubinga $$ NT 5 Bass w/ Flight case and tool/cleaning kit. I’m used to playing Victor Wooten pieces but didn’t anticipate not having dots. Not that I rely on them but when your jumping around, even one fret dot for me on a high fret would help. Anyway the Bass is mint and I don’t want to harm the finish. I just got some glow in the dark fret dots which match the inlayed ones on the top. Will putting them on damage the fret board in anyway if I were to take them off? I don’t want to be oiling this thing and have fade marks where the stickers were.
