He's the unc that shows up an hour and a half late to the cookout when everyone else has already started eating and proceeds to eat half the leftovers and talk about stories that you have no idea actually happened or not
Funny thing is, Terry lived over the hill from us when he played. He normally drove a navy blue Suburban back then! Us kids used to hang out on the hill above his townhouse. He would come out on the deck to his townhouse and say "What y'all doing up there on the hill?"
I never made the connection between the 79 Daytona 500 race finish and the 81 Cannonball Run movie until I did some research for my first post. At the end of the 79 Daytona 500, Cale Yarborough and Donnie Alison got into an " on track incident " that spilled over into an " off track incident " . ( As a side note, this was the first live TV coverage of the race and the CY / DA incident put NASCAR on the map ) The car Terry ( as CY ) and Mel were driving was painted to look like the car Donnie Alison drove in the 79 Daytona 500. I'm betting this was planned. . . .
I had the same Goat as Bradshaw, except no vinyl top (in my avatar). I chuckle because the year I bought it a Vinyl Top Installation shop opened down the street with a big sign "Better Than Factory Tops - 29.95". It was a thick spray gun that applied this black lumpy stew.
In a game full full of icons, there are two gentlemen at the top, defining the true best of football competition and sportsmanship. There are John Madden and Terry Bradshaw. I cannot imagine football without them. I don't even like the idea of it.
This was the greatest...! LOL I'm still laughing... Bradshaw does not care how he looks, dresses, could care less about cars, just all about FUN and LAUGHS..! What a duo these two make...! Awesome! GG
That is so very, very funny. Lmao. Just hearing Bradshaw lose it was worth everything. They didn't even make it around the track before chaos caught up to them and hilarity ensued. This is why Leno had Bradshaw on his show 54 times. Superb chemistry tween them and total unpredictable.
Funniest 10 minutes I watched in along time. And that TA - Rare for a 79 to have the Pontiac engine (most were olds 403s as Pontiac had stopped making the 400)
Yes only 1817 anniversary editions had the 400 with the Borg Warner Super T-10 4-speed. A few other 79 had the 4-speed too but MOST were autos. 1979 set a record for most F-bodys ever sold. Over 211,000.

I thought he was joking when he called the car a Chevy Camaro, but he may have been serious. Doesn't really seem to be a car guy. Great video though. Seems like a fun-loving guy.
It seems Jay Leno forgot the fact Terry Bradshaw became an NFL legend by making decisions and moves in split seconds. Jay never had a chance in drag racing.
8:00 min in. Those are fake engines and those cars are both electric, run off the same current and are pretty much identical in speed. The winner is usually the one with the fastest reaction time off the line at greenlight.
Bradshaws joy is just infectious.
Terry Bradshaw is like the uncle everyone is glad showed up at the party - lol
Or the cousin!
He's the unc that shows up an hour and a half late to the cookout when everyone else has already started eating and proceeds to eat half the leftovers and talk about stories that you have no idea actually happened or not
Terry always comes off as one of the nicest guys. He is one of those people have a night and just listen to all his stories would be awesome.
This was one of the funniest NBC Jay Leno clips of all time! Hilarious.
Cheers Terry!
Terry Bradshaw is such a class act.
One of my favorite videos you've made so far! 🙂
Bradshaw's laugh is nothing short of contagious! This Video was a blast to watch!

One of the best QB's in history, and certainly loved to laugh. A true legend! Thanks for the memories!
Hearing him laugh made me laugh just as hard lol 😂

The kibitsing in the car was hilarious. You guys put on a great two man show. ✌
We want more videos with Terry. Love that laugh
Terry was in the 1981 movie Cannonball Run as a sort of Cale Yarborough.
He and Mel Tillis were fantastic together 🤣😂
I was really worried they were going to run out of beer.

Friscos....Downey California...i. was there every Wensday and weekend...great old cars and great food
Is Friscos anywhere near the old McDonald's that was restored and reopened about 20 years ago? 😊
@@oldiesgeek454 nope...Friscos is south of Firestone blvd....south of Downey mall...
@@bryanheairet2925 Thanks. 😊
As an Australian, have no idea who this guy is, but that laugh 6:58 - 7:20 is the best thing I have ever heard...my jaw hurts, lol :)
Love these Two together 😂 freaking AWESOME 👍
Bradshaw is a National treasure and also from my hometown! My Dad worked at Bill Hanna Ford when I was a kid back in the 70's.
these two were like siblings 😂😂 with Leno as the younger bro that likes to troll but Terry would just laugh it off 🤣
Love Terry and Jay.
Hope you guys enjoyed hanging around Puente Hills. My old stomping grounds.
Yes indeed his laugh makes me laugh...a great guy is Terry..and Jay too..
Bradshaw was one of Leno's best friends and guests
Their mutual ribbing is fracking hilarious!
Outstanding video, enjoyed every second. Terry Bradshaw never ceases to amaze me.

That man's laugh makes me laugh. Top guy 🤘
If there's two guys I could watch and listen to for hours & hours...it's these two clowns. Er, uh, great guys.
Terry is hilarious. Could be a top comedian.

Underrated comment right here
@@TheTravisTube lol I thought so myself
What a duo
Cake seen was great, had me laughing. You two should go on the road as a comedy team.
Even today Terry and Phil are best of friends. And yes,,,,, Terry won the laughing contest.
Cars were so incredibly cool back in the day
Old cars are the closest thing we have to time machines
Thats awsome ,i love drag track, racing❤😂

@@gregwatson8219 wasn't there a golfer named Greg Watson? 🤔
Leno did not have him 54 times...that included Johnny Carson...started in 1979..
@@jimbradley727 I suppose so.
It’s a Pontiac TransAm because of the screaming Phoenix and louvers and it was in the movie Smoky and the bandit
Great!

Finally somebody willing to spend time with Leno, I wonder what Bradshaw asked for.
I had that ta, great body style.
Bradshaw should be made a Roving USA 🇺🇸 World Ambassador of Peace, Love & Fun
LOL! I drove a Firebird in the 90s, and people commonly thought it was a Camaro. Sometime they'd guess it was a Thunderbird.
This One was so Funny ~!!!!!!!!!!!Priceless ~~~!!!! ;-)-
Filarious!
Bradshaw put this clip into the endzone.
I can't believe it.👍🤩

I miss my car!!!!! I had a one year color only.
I had one same year fully loaded with every option..$9700 out the door!..very heavy and very slow!
Terry made me a Steelers fan when I was a kid. GO HAWKS
That’s a trans am! Firebird had the 350hp.
220 horsepower. Good old days of smog equipment
PittsuSteeler Legendary
Back then there wasn't much that was faster.
Terry should be the voice actor for the joker or play an old joker in a movie
Isn't that an Olds 403 instead of Pontiac 400? Should be 180hp and not 220hp if I'm not mistaken.
Those are two guys that enjoy life and all it has to offer. Life-Long Steelers fan here, because of Terry of course.
What a crazy deal.....Thanks guy's....But l am the greatest......!
Jay it’s a Pontiac trans am not firebird , there is a firebird , formula, and trans am , Jay get with the program
