This isn't the new version, this is a live version that comes with Tears on Tape, and Ville voice is awful now, perhaps the cause is the alcohol and smoking.

The live songs on Tears on Tape sound weird because of a filter they're using on Ville's voice. His voice hasn't actually changed this drastically.
