Great video, thank you! Quick question - does it matter if my references aren't overly varied? For example, if I refer to CIPD for many questions, or to the same book over and over?
One of my favourite quotes is CIPD. I love CIPD regarding referencing, as they follow the preferred academic process. The variety isn't a major concern. However, I would caution you on the sources you use. Ensure they are evidence-based and academically relevant. Something like Indeed, which pushes out a lot of articles for SEO, is not suitable.
Hi, I can't get my head around vertical and horizontal integration, everytime i research i get a different answer, please can you explain what they are? thank you.
Think of vertical integration as a company merging. Everyone starts to come into the sa,e office. There are two people for one role, for example. Horizontal is more than that; there are different companies, but they all act independently like Pepsico brands, such as Gatorade, Quaker Oats, and Doretos. How can HR ensure they all have the same GDPR training, Benefits, etc., and that its fair and equitable to all brands or do they need a central HR service across all brands.
No matter what I write, I’ve been seeing that it says your text looks like it’s written by AI, I am unsure how to navigate this. Will providing references get me through this problem?
CIPD centres use quite advanced generative AI detectors. We send 000's on ours, and the free ones online dont really look at the same things our paid ones do. Like plagiarism, we have 00's of responses to build a profile on responses. My recommendation would be if you haven't used generative software, it will pass the centre's AI detectors. Spell checks are fine, but IMPROVE IT features where AI suggests how it should be written will fail.
@@HRCoursesOnline thank you so much for your response. This might exactly be the problem, I’ve updated so many sentences that Grammarly suggested. Going to redo them, thank you again!
Very helpful
Glad you think so!
