@oetproductions8101 i've had RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Super in the past and they are pretty good except at the time the Nvidia shadowplay was bugging out (i believe its been fixed since then), but for the game i play (cod) AMD is generally faster because of its L2 Cache which is why i moved back to AMD, also because of its 16GB vram
@@noblegaming7296 yeah the vram thing hurts me the most but so far I didn’t ran out playing anything. Once my monitor dies I‘m probably switching to amd too. Really hate nvidia and their greed rn.
As much as I hate to say it, purely based on streaming performance, the 4060TI is the pick here. The FPS numbers with competitive settings were similar enough that it didn't offset the difference in the quality of the stream. As you said, I will fault Twitch for this rather than AMD, since AV1 encoding would have most likely leveled the playing field. All in all a great comparison, and a good fight between these two GPUs!
Everyone ALWAYS says the 4060ti is a bad value card, but everyone that i see using one has the same comment "better than I expected". Sometimes stats on paper don't tell the whole story. Yes the 4060ti is expensive for what it is, but it performs really well. many gamers scoff at DLSS, but it's a game changer and is drastically better than AMD's offering.
Running 7700XT, 7 7700X, 32GB Ram, 2TB Storage. If you are looking for a great build. That can stream high quality and high fps with no frame drops. Pair this CPU and GPU. Built this rig for less then $1,000.
Add on to this. Yes I used Intel and Nvidia for 2 builds. But then I switched to AMD and love it way better. Much better experience using AMD for everything in general, Gaming, Streaming, etc.
I've gone back and forth for months on which GPU to get and decided to go for the RX 6800. Sure, it doesn't have AV1 encoding for livestreaming, but in all honesty no one is really gonna notice the difference in quality between an NVIDIA card and an AMD card for livestreaming unless they're that big of a stickler for it. I constantly ask the people going in my chat if the quality looks fine and they've had no complaints. Obviously the Nvidia card does look better when you compare it side-by-side, but unless you're really that big of a streamer do you really need to sacrifice the performance and money saved for a slightly better stream quality?
I had a similar build for my $1100 pc - but got a nicer cpu and slightly nicer board for the extra $100 - ryzen 7 7700 and the msi b650 tomahawk wifi. I went with the 4060ti as well for gpu. I’m a photographer, all photoshop really calls for is 4 gb of vram.
The 6700XT is on par (and even above) in most games compared with the 4060Ti. So I imagine the 7700XT will crush the Nvidia option by a high margin. The hilarious part is that the AMD GPU is still slightly cheaper.
If budget allows, I would try to shoot for atleast an 8 core cpu for more gpu intensive games while trying to stream in the background. 6 core is pushing it a bit. Just my opinion though

Just tune the latency on the memory who cares if it's CL38. You can get it down to 28-30. tREFI at 65535 and all the good stuff. At DDR5 speeds as slow as 6000 it's super easy to tighten the timings along with secondaries and tertiaries without having to tweak voltages much or even having to go above 1.3v on the MC. The fabric being separate from the memory controller with AM5 completely bottlenecks the memory bandwidth and latency as well. Don't understand why they can't just make a true monolith die.
