A couple of questions come to mind-
1) If this information can be found by tracing genealogy from child to parent (although greatly buried under ‘articles’ that say that she is Indian & black- or Afro-Caribbean) - it lets me know that surely the government & the Democrat Party know. If a regular person like myself can find it- they know. And clearly don’t care that people know or not.
2) This whole race issue was brought up purposefully. Notice how they keep saying that she ‘identifies’ as black? Something isn’t right, because it should be simple enough to show her own ancestry. They’re playing in our faces with this woman & charade.
3) If she has so much Irish/ white ancestry that is clearly shown by the people’s birth/death & parentage- but absolutely no traceable black or African ancestry- then why are they/she making this such a huge issue? Then getting upset when people have questions. It surely wouldn’t come as any surprise that there may be more than Indian, or black?

4) I came from California & remember the decades that she was DA, AG & Senator. She has always been at the center of scandals- dealing with this, Willie Brown & a ton of prosecutorial misconduct.) She has also nearly always been presented as an Indian woman; and only rarely, in certain circumstances did she ever talk about being black. Something like that is simple enough to talk about, when it is truly a part of one’s identity. Lot’s of us are mixed plenty. No, we usually don’t specify this, but again, when it’s been a part of your life story, it comes naturally. And isn’t forced or used for points.
4) Authenticity. If she has been willing to put up this front for political gain- why should anyone trust her?

I have found this to be more accurate than articles because of all of the data collection & cross referencing.
*All of the Harris Family stated ‘born in Jamaica’ were born in St.Anne’s Parish, also known as Brown Town after the founder, Hamilton Brown (Sr.).
Hamilton Brown (Sr.) was the town’s founder & the largest slave holding Plantation Owner in Jamaica. He had 5 landholdings & 1,120 slaves. He was infamous for his fight against the Abolitionist William Wilberforce in the ending of the British Slave Trade.
In 1887, Hamilton was awarded £24,144.00 (equivalent to £2.89 million in today’s money.) in recompense for his slaves. (It should be noted that Nathan Mayer Rothschild & Moses Montefiore had loaned the entire amount of £15 million to the British Government, with interest; British Taxpayers continued to pay off that original debt until 2015. )
Hamilton Brown (Sr.) then took part of the money back to Antrim County, Ireland & bought several Irish men & families on indenture. His 1st trip brought 121 people & a later trip brought 185 more. He was trying to build an Ulster Protestant community in St. Anne. While a large number of Irish settlers stayed, the project was stopped when it was realized that he was responsible for bringing the Irish to use for slave labor on his Plantations.
