    Hi
    My daughter is pursuing company secretary India course Intermediate level. She is having overall experience of 18 months in audit firm. She wish to pursue msc accounting and finance in UK.
    Please suggest your view on this. Is sending her UK in sep 2023 intake is a good move? And what about the Job opportunities considering her current situation.

    • @KeinShah
      @KeinShah  Год назад

      Current scenario is not so good for jobs. Limited jobs, and finding a job with sponsorship is even more challenging. However, with the right skillset and experience, it is possible to get a job. Situation is bound to improve over time and with elections next year, it remains to be seen as to how the economic conditions unfold.
      In my opinion, 18months is not just enough experience. She can come for Sept intake, with 2yrs experience by then, provided it will not be a financial burden on her. Lot of students fall in the loan trap and are forced to work extra to pay of the student loans.
      So, think twice, choose the right uni and consider long term goals before applying to come here.
      Good luck!

    I wanted to ask if the university you are graduating from, play really important role while applying for jobs. I have got offer letter from Queen Mary University, London for MSc in Accounting and Finance. How do i check the employability chances from this university for my course?
    I have 5 years of experience in Taxation from Ernst and Young (Big Four) and completed my Inter CA (3 years of articleship + 1 year of job experience in mid size CA firm) and done my LLB as well.
    Will my experience and doing MSc in Accounting and Finance from Queen Mary University, London help me in landing a good job in London. Also if you can suggest me anything for getting a good placement.

    I am currently enrolled in the ACCA program. While researching potential Master's degree programs, I came across Imperial’s MSc in Finance and Accounting, which aligns well with my interests.
    However, a challenge I face is that I did not study mathematics at the +2 level, and this degree requires a statement of quantitative experience. Could you please provide further insight into the specific requirements for this statement?
    Moreover, does ACCA certification help with it, or should I go for CFA Level 1 and Level 2 certification to strengthen my profile and increase my chances of admission to the program? Do you believe pursuing the CFA certification would enhance my application?
    And In order to get into Investment banking or Corporate finance, what do you think would be the best masters?
