There is NO way Dolly would be photographed without hair. She has worn wigs forevvvvver because it would take too long to style her hair for each show. Dolly looks great and if she is happy I am happy. I love her for her song writing, her singing and her charity work. More power to her. ❤ from Ontario 🇨🇦
First off, I had no idea she wore wigs! Second, (I hope this doesn’t sound creepy) you are one of the most beautiful women on RUclips - you don’t need plastic surgery!
That person they say was her without makeup is Judy Ogle her personal assistant. Dolly has made a pop rock cover album and as a Prince fan, her version of Purple Rain is awesome.
I love your different hair styles! You look so cute! Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year to you and your family!! You're one of my favorite reactors! 💜
Girl let me tell you, you are one of the cutest ladies I’ve ever seen. You will never need to do anything to that beautiful face. And you are very classy as well. I love your channel!
If you like or dislike somebody because of their looks, that makes you a shallow person. And Britt, don't change a thing! I actually enjoy your different looks, but I watch you for your personality! Keep up the good work and thank you for what you do.
“Does she have missing ribs?” That had me doubled over in laughter and desperately running for the bathroom!(70 year old bladder here!) Honestly Britt,I’d need MANY missing ribs to have a waist like Dolly’s! You are too funny and absolutely adorable. But all kidding aside,I don’t love Dolly for her big voice…I love her for her big heart! She is an incredibly generous lady!❤️❤️❤️
You should check out Barbara Walter's Dolly interview from the 70s. Not because it was a good interview, Barbara was condescending and disrespectful, but because Dolly shows her true colors, and if it was unclear - she's the whole rainbow ❤
I have always loved Dolly. I used to watch her on the Porter Waggoner Show. I called it The Dolly Parton Show. I love how she sings, I love that she's very honest about her signature look. She is a brilliant businesswoman. She is very giving, she's brilliant. She has "played up" the dumb blonde persona while making BANK!! People may have laughed at her back in the day, but they don't own their very own Amusement Park. I just found your channel today, and I'm glad that I did. I love how you call Dolly "Aunt Dolly," I think she would really get a kick out of that. I'll be watching more of your channel in the future. God bless
Dolly said she's not offended by being called a "dumb blonde" because #1 she's not dumb, and #2 she's not blonde. Also heard that 1 time she lost a Dolly Parton look-a- like contest, lol
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Being about the same age as Dolly, I recall sitting around the wood stove (in my $15 a month boarding house) watching the Porter Waggoner show on a 15" black and white TV ... and having the same discussion about Dolly that you just presented.
IMO (I'm 66) I think the term girl power comes from a time when women had very little power (no bank accounts, credit cards, etc) and the women's lib movement changed all that. Every accomplishment that gave us more freedom was attributed to 'girl power'. However, you are correct in saying it can now be called just power & bosses, IMO.
I'm 70. Although I'm not a country music fan, I've observed Dolly's entire career in real-time. She has always had a kind personality. I already knew that. Something I think is more significant than why she wears wigs is her musical accomplishments, such as writing one of Whitney's biggest hits, I Will Always Love You.
Dolly just released her first new album in years titled Rockstar this year she became the first female artist inducted into the RocknRoll,Country and Songwriter Hall of Fame. And just for you Britt it has a Dolly Chris Stapleton duet
@@brittreacts, This is not how Dolly looks without her signature wigs. It is simply a fraudulent photo of Auntee Dolly, who happens to have short hair that is just short of shoulder length. Dolly’s hair is a bit of dish water blondish & grey color. Dolly does go out unless she is completely dressed, that includes one of her wigs. Look at the wrinkles in her face, have you ever seen Dolly with so many wrinkles? Who took this photo, where was it taken, and for what reason did Dolly allow this to be taken? There is no way Dolly would let a photo like this to happen. Dolly always looks beautiful when she steps out. This is someone being cruel or poking fun at Dolly. Do not let them fool you. I still ❤️ Dolly. 🌹
I grew up in Chattanooga TN in the 60s, and my family used to go downtown on the weekend to watch live wrasslin' with my family. It was usually followed by the Porter Waggoner show, which we would often stay to watch. I remember when Norma Jean left the show and Dolly took over as the girl singer. For some reason the women in the family hated it and wanted to leave immediately. The men wanted her to stay for some reason. All us little gay babies (I was maybe 6 or 7?) also wanted Auntie Dolly and her wigs and makeup to stay. It was the only thing that brought me close together with the straight men in my family.
That Lady they said was "Dolly's natural hair" is actually Dolly's best friend from childhood Judy Ogle who from the beginning became Dolly's Personal Assistant for all these Years! You can see that friendship form in Dolly's movie Coat of Many Colours which is a movie form biopic of her childhood.
You probably already know Dolly wrote and performed "I Will Always Love You" years before Whitney Houston did it. My favorite non-singing Dolly moment is when Whitney was at the top of the charts and her version of "I Will Always Love You" was everywhere. Dolly was on the Johnny Carson show and was asked if she liked Whitneys version. She said two things, one, she loved it. Two - She looked at the camera and "speaking" to Ms. Houston said she had all kinds of songs she could sing if she wanted. Why? because it "Takes a lot of money for me to look this cheap!" Side note - I did a search of the woman you were "angry?" about. She is Judy Ogle - Dolly's personal assistant.
Whitney Houston "I Will always love you" written by Dolly Parton. Dolly said when she wrote the song and sang it she put money in the bank. When Whitney sung it , Dolly said she bought the bank !!! LOL
The lady they are trying to make you believe is Dolly, with the red hair, is Judy Ogle, her best friend. If you haven’t watched her movie “Coat of Many Colors” you should and you will learn of her friendship with Judy
I love Dolly Parton. If anything, I respect her even more after hearing the things mentioned in the video. She’s a true blue sweetheart, and that opinion will never change! ❤
And this is why I love love LOVE DP! I saw her in a special one time and these words she uttered are exactly how I live. "Anything I've ever done seemed to be the thing to at the time or i wouldn't have done it. But to say that i regret this & that...I'd regret gettin' caught at it, or regret hurtin' somebody else w/something. But i don't regret anything that I've done. Because to change one thing could change everything." DP is my spirit animal 💜
Hey Britt.. have you seen her in the movie yet.. The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas yet? You did a reaction to Hard Candy Christmas and said you never seen it.. MUST Watch.. you will understand the song better if you watch the movie. Loving being a member of your channel.. Your reactions to songs are the best I've seen
Great reaction Britt🙂 I saw an interview or article somewhere where she said that she has some ink on her also. Dolly is just an icon!! Don't listen to those hair comments... you look great as you are, but your braids really work for you 😊
Everyone can do as they please to be happy when they look at themselves in the mirror, but I hope you know Britt that you are a lovely woman who doesn't need plastic surgery. You're a beauty already. :) Love when you talk about your Aunt Dolly; so adorable!
You can see her real hair in the opening credits of the old Dolly show from the 80;s, The song, "Baby I'm Burning" is playing and Dolly is in a hot tub full of bubbles. She is in her own hair. That lady is Judy Ogle, Dolly's lifelong best friend who always insisted on hoarding all of Dolly's stuff allowing for the Dolly museum and the "Behind the Seams" book from Dolly's neice.
Girl, I'm not concerned at all about your hair journey. I love to see your different hair styles, you're fun and playful in your look. I think you're adorable! And i love that you refer to Dolly as your Aunt. She's so relatable.
Britt, please don't go plastic!!&! You are truly beautiful and you don't need any help!!&! And your personality just adds to your beautiful soul!!&! ❤ 🥰
I want to see you meet the Fantabulastical human being that we all know and love, Miss Dolly Parton! (I would like to add that I want to meet her too) But honestly, I really wish that for you! ❤
Dolly, as we all know, has a great sense of humor and honesty about herself and her looks. Once, when a reporter asked how long it takes to do her hair, she chuckled and said with a shrug, "I don't know. I'm never there."
They skipped over one of the best quotes I ever heard Dolly say when asked about how much she's spent on plastic surgery, "Well, you know, it costs a LOT to look this cheap!"
Brett check out the song by Confederate railroad "trashy women" in the lyrics they reference a cocktail waitress in a Dolly Parton wig it's just a great classic song
Dolly is a blessing. From the dirt under her kidhood bare feet she rose and would NOT be denied. And Gandi and The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr did the same. Sojourner Truth? Frida Kahlo? Malala? Those who forcefully but kindly, passively dissent are the ones to hear. Not the mobs that run from hot topic to hot topic. Dolly is genuinely herself and I LOVE that about her. Strong enough to push back, kind enough to let us in.
English can be the most Flamboyant, Colorful, DESCRIPTIVE Language there is! Dolly always refrains from using "Inappropriate Language", but she can still get her point across EXACTLY as she wants. Britt anyone making comments about your hair are jealous. I saw Dolly on some interview and they were asking her how she keeps such young appearance. Dolly laughed that cute laugh of hers and said that since she has been able to afford it she will get nip, tucked or sucked to keep looking like she does. I say more power to her because she looks fantastic instead of fake like a lot of people do
For a lady who has to be near 80 she deserves to do whatever she likes with her appearance. She has a great backstory and a wonderful voice. She's awesome. Dolly is real talent, not faked up with autotune. She doesn't have to be a woman who wears costumes that leave nothing to the imagination. Women should be able to look however they want without judgment, well, children don't need to see a lady's personal parts, they are kids, let them be. That's not Dolly! Her face would still look like her and that person in the picture didn't look anything like Dolly.
I understand the " girl power", especially for Dolly. She had to struggle to get to the top, because she was a woman. Therefore, when you start calling your own shots & being in charge of your career, your way, that's female power, girl power in those days, for sure. Men made more money and had more clout. Dolly helped pave the way. That's what she means by that. I have heard her say that in dome interview years ago.😊
I don't care about your hair. That's between you and him? Just be happy and move forward. Good content is what you are here for (I think). Peace, Love!!
actors / dancers / singers / celebrities / have been wearing wigs for THOUSANDS of years !! ... (im guessing her recent baldness was from cancer treatments) (im guessing)
I love Dolly she is true to herself if you don't like what she does with her body that's your problem l love she doesn't care what people say about her 😅.

It’s amazing what makeup and a wig can look like on a person.

Yeah, Walters tended to be condescending to quite a few of her guests. Can't stand the woman, for that.
Thank you! I’ll be looking into it soon 😊
Exactly what I came to say 😊

Dolly has told that story that she was in a gay bar and there were drag queens doing a Dolly Parton look a like contest and she came in second!

Dolly actually portrayed “The Painted Lady” in her biopic “Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love”.
Parton is not just a VERY talented singer/song writer, but also an intelligent and driven business person.
Yes, and she's also extremely generous.
I grew up in Chattanooga TN in the 60s, and my family used to go downtown on the weekend to watch live wrasslin' with my family. It was usually followed by the Porter Waggoner show, which we would often stay to watch.

That red-head is NOT Dolly Parton. NO WAY! That hug of Kenny was a CHURCH HUG!

Then gave that bank to the black community in Nashville.

Dolly always said the " painted lady"" was always very kind and to Dolly, that made her more beautiful than all the so called " proper ladies ""!❤❤❤❤
Also another great movie of hers is Straight Talk.. OMG.. Fantastic movie
Love that movie!!
I haven't seen it, I can't believe it, either!!! Hmmmmm Now I have to find it! Thanks!
Dolly is and always will be the QUEEN of country/crossover music for me.
I love Dolly Parton. If anything, I respect her even more after hearing the things mentioned in the video. She’s a true blue sweetheart, and that opinion will never change! ❤
I’ve loved Dolly Parton since I was a kid and will love her forever. Would love to meet her one day but I still love her that will never change.
She has had a ton of surgery. I saw her in the late 80s at Dollywood with Kenny Rodgers. They both put on an amazing show.
You tell'em Britt!! ❤❤❤❤
And this is why I love love LOVE DP! I saw her in a special one time and these words she uttered are exactly how I live. Okay okay I promise I’ll watch it soon!
That's right girl, put respect on Dollys name!❤❤Great reaction!!!
I love your hair. Whatever you do with it is your call. I know time is used in what ever your style will be for the day. Love your videos.
I remember watching Dolly on the Porter Wagoner show growing up. Everyone knew she wore wigs.
The red-haired woman shown in a few pictures is Judy Ogle. Auntie Dolly's childhood best friend and long-time assistant.❤
Bouffant is another way to say big hair that is teased and styled and sprayed with at least two cans of hair spray. The style was popular in the 60s.
Watch The Dolly Parton Christmas!
She plays the TOOTE in the Christmas special.
It's so good
Dolly has an absolutely beyond beautiful soul ❤️🔥
She has a childlike heart who she was then never changed
Great reaction Britt🙂 I saw an interview or article somewhere where she said that she has some ink on her also. Dolly is just an icon!! Don't listen to those hair comments... you look great as you are, but your braids really work for you 😊
Dolly is special. Peace, Love!!
Dolly has joked that she's got tiny feet and a tiny waist, cause things don't grow in the shade!
I have loved every look you have sported!
Everyone can do as they please to be happy when they look at themselves in the mirror, but I hope you know Britt that you are a lovely woman who doesn't need plastic surgery. You're a beauty already. :) Love when you talk about your Aunt Dolly; so adorable!
Down from Dover was a song she did for unwed moms. It was controversial but opened the eyes to what was happening.
You have to read her memoir- it's fantastic.
Anybody else remember the Porter Wagner show, "brought to you by Breeze laundry detergent "?
PIONEER!!!! Period.
Crossroads with Melissa Etheridge is amazing
I wish all of us could be like Dolly Parton. I can’t think of ANYONE she has ever criticized or said a bad thing about. That is classy.
I want to see you meet the Fantabulastical human being that we all know and love, Miss Dolly Parton! (I would like to add that I want to meet her too) But honestly, I really wish that for you! ❤
Ms britt, I think you would like Dolly's autobiography " my life and other unfinished business " written some years ago. Funny , sad and very honest.
Have you ever seen the tv Netflix series based on her songs? Dolly Parton's Heartstrings
greetings from Uruguay 🇺🇾 girl excellent reaction😊
Dolly is a treasure. In one interview she swears she still wears Maybelline make up. No high priced, designer make up for her.
She is fabulous 😊
Brett check out the song by Confederate railroad "trashy women" in the lyrics they reference a cocktail waitress in a Dolly Parton wig it's just a great classic song
You're very beautiful! New favorite reactor. Subscribed a couple days ago.
Bueffont is a very old fashioned word!
I like your current look.
Bouffant hair style was big back in the 60's!
Dolly is a blessing. From the dirt under her kidhood bare feet she rose and would NOT be denied. I love everything she stands for - a strong person, a gorgeous woman who didn't conform, a great singer and songwriter, and a soul who makes your day a little kinder just by hearing her speak or sing. She is a Joy and.. I laugh as she is like Willie or Cash when he was in later years... everybody wanted to perform w 'em and i don't think it was the money grab.. it was to feel a little of that Spirit.

English can be the most Flamboyant, Colorful, DESCRIPTIVE Language there is!
Dolly always refrains from using "Inappropriate Language", but she can still get her point across EXACTLY as she wants.
To Paraphrase, Dolly's also Like "John Wayne (Rip) Toilet Paper" . She's Rough, Tough and don't take S**t from ANYONE (But ALWAYS a True Lady)!
That is Dolly's best friend and former personal assistant, Judy Ogle, currently retired. She and Dolly have been best friends since the 4th grade.
The best comment I have ever heard is when Dolly has said numerous times that"it costs a lot to look this cheap" Classic.
The person people keep claiming is Dolly without makeup is Dolly’s personal assistant, and childhood friend, Judy Ogle.
Dolly has openly admitted she has had plastic surgery she hasn't hid anything about that, and I see nothing g wrong with it.
You are beautiful . You don’t ever need to think of plastic surgery . 💜 My daughters in law are beautiful like you !
Bouffant hairdo we uset to tease our hair with a comb to ge that look then spray it with aquanet hairspray to keep it looking like that lol
If you know anything about Dolly, you would know where her look originated. Recently, she performed at halftime during a Cowboys game my wearing a cheerleader outfit, and she rocked it.
Try listening to a couple of duets of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton Awesome !
Norma Jean got married and left the show. Dolly replaced her as she no longer chose to be there. So, Dolly replaced her after the fact.
The other woman was Dolly’s best friend Judy!:)
Bouffant just means puffy hair. Usually big, puffy, teased hair. I love that Dolly thought the Painted Lady was the most beautiful.
Britt anyone making comments about your hair are jealous. I saw Dolly on some interview and they were asking her how she keeps such young appearance. Dolly laughed that cute laugh of hers and said that since she has been able to afford it she will get nip, tucked or sucked to keep looking like she does. I say more power to her because she looks fantastic instead of fake like a lot of people do
That wasn’t Dolly, you are right, she would never go out in public without the look she wanted photographed!
For a lady who has to be near 80 she deserves to do whatever she likes with her appearance. She has a great backstory and a wonderful voice. She's awesome. You need to watch Coat of Many Colors movie it is her childhood story.
I protect my hair at all costs. When you loose it from chemo don’t want to go beauty shop or let anyone touch it

You look gorgeous ❤❤❤❤
The redhead is Dolly's best friend Judy Ogle.
Your a pretty lady good hair bit more importantly a beautiful heart
Dolly has said “It costs a lot of money to look this cheap”
I love Dolly she is true to herself if you don't like what she does with her body that's your problem l love she doesn't care what people say about her 😅.
There are 2 women you can never talk bad about. Dolly Pardon and Betty White
