  • Hi! I got the cutest pajama romper yesterday and tried to figure out how to adapt it so I could wear it with my feeding tube! I filmed this for tik tok which is why it is vertical but i thought i would share it on here anyways just in case you all wanted ideas on how to adapt your clothing to fit your feeding tube!

Love the pj's it reminds me of the sewing pattern by patterns for pirates called the naughty nice pj's. I'm actually going to try to make the kids version (sugar spice pj's) since I've unfortunately lost a ton of weight and now the kids clothes/patterns fit me better.

Im glad theres people like you to show others we are not alone. I just got diagnosed with Gastroparesis and I still have to do more tests (next week ultrasound on Gallbladder to see if thats making things worse) but this is the worst pain Ive been in my whole entire life. I used to think I was strong and able to handle things. Losing both my parents before the age of 18, PTSD & Depression from the military, etc but I have to honestly say this has crushed me. My symptoms started earlier this year due to an infection. Since finding out last week Im having my worst flare up to date. I also think my anxiety is making things worse because I already have an anxiety disorder from the Army and the panicking makes things worse. I have a son and so I have to be there for him and sometimes I feel like I cant be there for myself. At least I know Im not alone but I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy

Have you thought about giving tVNS (transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation) a try? It stimulates the vagus nerve near the ear and has the potential to stimulate the vagus nerve near the stomach as well and improve gastric emptying.
