This is my second favourite from 2019, just behind KEiiNO from Norway. 'Storm' gives off heartwarming vibes for me, and this was definitely Victor's best performance of the song I'd say :)

I know, right? How do they manage to get the Guitar to just vanish from the stage?? Was someone hiding from the camera's view that they took the guitar and just ran away?
Take a closer look at the first disapearance. Camera zooms in on the objects face leaving the guitar out of frame. Someone walks on stage and takes the guitar with him while the act goes on.
Do you think it added to the song with magic or do you think it made it look cheaper because it gives the feeling of not being live? Just curious and analyzing.

I can´t believe it... i´m really sad... For me actually one of the best songs this year. I appreciate Victor´s relaxed performance which is totally focused on music not on effects. And i don'´t care if there are parts in the song which reminds me of other songs such as one of Avicii. Listen to the winner song, it reminds me a lot of the entry from Bulgaria " Beautiful mess" from Kristian Kostav. But i don´t care about that, the Netherlands deserved to win! Most of the songs do contain parts of songs from former songs anyway! Victor, you made a great job and congratulations from Germany!
Amazing song from Estonia. I hope one day Estonia holds ESC as it did in 2002. I have good memories from that day since it was the first time i came up with this contest and all the emotion of Spain participating there. Good luck!
The grand final performance was his best one so far! Great! I was worrying at the beginning that he might not make it to the final, because he was generally very underrated. But well done!!! He can really be proud of himself.
There's attendants under/on the stage. They play with camera angles so you mostly can't see it on TV. You could briefly see them in the semi final performance

This was then overlaid onto a rotating shot of the audience to give the illusion of perspective whilst the pre-recorded video rotated. Once it had reached a certain point, the steadicam giving the background shot of the audience swivels to him with the guitar, and the pre-recorded shot wipes off in sync with this. Hopefully I haven't ruined the magic too much for anyone. :)

I travelled from Spain to Sweden to see Victor in a concert in Västerås and he's an incredibly lovely guy. I had the chance to meet him and the first thing he did when he saw me was giving me a hug. We had a short but enjoyable conversation. He looked genuinely delighted and thankful that I came from far away to see him. I even made a sign and we took pictures with it. Victor was really kind, considerate and nice to me. I can't thank him enough for his time to meet me that day 🙏

It's my favorite song this year! Victor got an amazing voice and a great stage presence, the song was catchy and energetic in the right amount, the stage was great and I love how simple it was. No dancers and other things that could have taken the attention from the music (Aside from the storm for the people at home). My Mom and I watched it together and sure, we love a lot of the songs, she loves Denmark and we loved Swizerland, Sweden, Norway, Russia and of course! Netherlands. But Storm actually got me more than the rest and I really wished he'd won. But anyways: Congratulation Netherlands, you were great, You did a great job, Victor, please do more amazing music. Lots of love from Israel!
