You guys can say whatever you want about this. But to me: Randy was the #1 wire character who was failed more than anyone. He lost everything, but most importantly, he lost himself and his hope. That scene in season 5, he barely even talks, but just by looking at the way he carries himself and the tone of his voice, he’s been crushed. Destroyed and rebuilt by his environment. And the thing is, people always say it’s Duke that had it the worst, and I do agree, he is on the top 3 for shadiest outcomes, but here’s the difference. Duke throughout seasons 4 and 5, through all the stuff he had to be lumped into because of Mike, never really changed by that much in his personality. He was always a nice person, but at the end of the day, he didn’t grow out of the environment, he unfortunately fell into it by becoming a junkie. Randy, from season 4, had a perfect balance of his life with his hustler mindset plus his mother who kept him in check. But ultimately, all because of that 1 day, he lost everything and never went back to being the same kid

Man that principal was the worst. She knew she could use Randy foster status against him. Didn’t even care if he was in the system or not 😢

@@erics362 that's the definition of evil. People make semantics all the time to avoid having to admit evil exists. It doesn't have horn growing out its head. It's the consequences of the actions that determine if it was evil or not. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Being passive bystanders against intentionally beaurcratic bullshit in exchange for the government paycheck, aka taking money to enable and create these systems and programs, is evil.
Reminds me of grade school, i used to but these candies at the deug store for like 1.00 there would be 10 to a pack and i would sell them for .25 each. I was making like 6 bucks a day until some kid said i saw those at Douglas Drug for a 1.00 and killed my hustle. Needless to say i got suspended after that.

Randy should’ve just gotten a small detention if he would’ve admitted to being a accomplice he could’ve been okay
But the difference between him and some of the other corner kids is he knew he had to stay out of trouble with school/the police or else his foster mom might release him and he’d end up back in a group home

Why tf did you add background music when the entire show didn't have this cheesy bs, then you made it so loud at some points it completely overpowers the dialogue, respect the work but stop with the bgm, its way too loud and is absolutely terrible, doesn't even go with the scenes
