I have been whistling and singing this song (and Cars and others as well).......a lot for a couple of months now, thinking of future walks and also enjoying my dear Mother's garden that she started in 1958. Been singing "A friend called nine (not five)" ...I bought your records when they originally came out and I've got them on cd as well.Thank you for the music Gary , you are so inspiring and I'm playing bits of your songs on keyboards . I'm writing music and singing now too and loving life again.
This doesn’t work for me. The whole point when Numan / Tubeway Army arrived it was an electric sound. Double bass and acoustic guitars do no favours. Sorry, these songs were composed on synthesisers and should remain. I don’t want to hear Beethoven in a Punk stylee.
