  • This one-chapter Torah portion contains the Song of Moses. We discuss the similarities and differences between the Song of the Sea (Exodus 15) and the Song of Moses, which was composed forty years later. Then, we discuss why the Song of Moses is not sung until near the end of the Bible in Revelation 15. Why is this song not sung before then? And what is the Song of the Lamb? And why are these two songs sung together? These and other fascinating insights are discussed in this episode. We think you will find it a blessing!

A tiny shout out from little Namibia as well although I count myself under ZA as I had the absolute privilege to meet and hear Grant teach way back in early 2020 in Cape Town while I was still living there and what a blessing it was to hear you teach in person Grant. Thank you Grant and Robin for dedicating your life to the Kingdom and so freely and willingly sharing your wisdom and knowledge with us you, are both such a huge blessing to every subscriber. May Father bless you both abundantly in all areas of your life and that of your family and ministry.

I so appreciate your teachings - the two of you. Before tuning into this, I was outside in a torrential rain, getting completely drenched while collecting as much rainwater as I could; and being so overjoyed and blessed by the fresh, cool water flowing over me on a very hot day. In whatever form it comes, God’s rain is always such a blessing.
I’m curious though, where in Torah is the 10 days of awe mentioned or alluded to, or is it strictly a tradition of Judaism? I have heard different explanations of what it is, but never where it is mentioned or described in scripture.

What great timing! So glad you got some much needed rain.
Since the Feast of Trumpets takes place on the first of Tishrei, and Yom Kippur takes place on the tenth, the ten days are traditionally seen as a time of repentance and self-evaluation. The sound of the shofar awakens us to repentance, and Yom Kippur is a rehearsal for the day of judgment, so these ten intervening days are the perfect time to really take inventory of our lives and make some corrections.
