Thanks, I really needed this. Something I’ve come across is that the majority of recruiters don’t even know my major, Mechatronics Engineering. It’s frustrating because I always feel like recruiters don’t understand how this major can be applicable to Comp Sci, Mechanical, or Electrical internships.
Thank you for this. It really helps. I am struggling to get into the IT/Cybersecurity job market fresh out of college. I just applied for an internship but got rejected. That was my dream internship. I am currently working on my resume as well to apply for jobs.
@@AlsworthTV Thank you!! I’m even applying for other jobs in other industries like retail & customer service. Whatever it takes to learn new, transferable skills!
Your absolute legend, thank you mate. I have been dreading to get started on my resume but I'm finally doing it as I write this and this greatly helped. Much love and stay safe!
Thank you! This is helpful. I didn’t know what kind of things should go on a resume for school! Applying to a local space institute soo I’m excited now that i feel a little more prepared!!
Thank you so much!!! Ahah I’m nervous about putting MATLAB and Python on my resume because I’m terrible at coding. Kinda just filled my page with project and leadership experience instead 😂 😭
Hey AlsworthTV! Thank you so much for the video. I'm a sophomore in ChemE and your videos have been really helpful. Idk why but the LinkedIn link in your bio is taking me to someone else's LinkedIn. Take care!
I really don't see the need to put the GPA, I had it at almost a 3.0 last semester and then family shit happened, and I ended up getting a 2.7 since I got all c's that semester
Every major has it's difficulties. Chemical engineering is hard but I would say it's definitely doable. Don't let difficulty be your deciding factor though
Check out my bio for free resume templates!
Is there link to that??
Love that you’re part of NSBE! We have that at my school but I am a part of SHPE! :)
first youtuber who asks for a dislike if we disliked the video...
I LIKED!

same man. Anytime someone asks about my major I always have to explain it cause no one seems to know what mechatronics is lol
