Thanks for the video! I'll have to check some of these out. I do carry the Fenix E-Spark in my wallet daily as an emergency backup light source/phone battery. Gets me 12-15% on my Samsung.
You earned a new subscriber! I love tiny tools and I was actually looking for a replacement for my small lockpicking kit I lost. It was identical tool wise to the one you showed so I ended up purchasing it. It also appears to be a higher quality than the ones I was looking at. Thank you!
I am definitely going to check out Soulbound Leather. I've been looking for a traditional pocket knife slip with a pocket clip. Thank you for the video.
Thank you for your awesome video. You definitely got me hooked on these wonderful mini tools. Already started looking for them and will get some next pay day
I am new to the EDC world and made my first Altoids kit recently and became addicted afterwards. I've always loved gadgets, especially innovative ones.
I really like tiny tools, but have a hard time justifying buying new ones as they overlap so much with other things. I'm still on the lookout for a good uk legal folding knife (not a multitool) if you have any suggestions.
@@LandmanEDC No problem. Looks like a good channel for me and I subscribed. I just got into EDC a few months ago starting with multi-tools and then flashlights. I'm now looking at pouches to organize it all.
Another great video, I love the small EDC tools. I am always looking for new ways to make EDC practical and light weight. As a professional first responder I carry the swiss style lock pick set. Its been useful in accessing pad locks on fencing when doing area searches during emergencies. There is a learning curve on mastering the device.
I really want to buy on of these ant design pry bars , great little tool , but its really hard to get one where i live.Great video , you earned +1 sub.
What you were calling a scraper on the next tool is actually an old style can opener...similar in concept to the P-38 can opener that was included in every GI ration.
Good Stuff!! I am putting together an EDC, but for when I go to work on a military base. So, no guns or knives aloud. I could use some suggestions, especially with cutting things.
A good hard-use cutter is the Milwaukee 1505 Utility Knife: amzn.to/3xAG3Jx Don’t know if you could carry that one on base, but I’d highly recommend the Pathfinder V2 from Ant Design from the video here as a small cutting tool.
So normally I’d agree, but the tool is just so small it’s not really easy to fidget with. The lanyard release also requires two fingers, one on each side to release it. Which is good for stability and it not falling off, but bad for fidget factor. But thanks for watching and for your comment!
I have one of those keychain quick release things from a random Amazon brand in Titanium and its legitimately so useful, it adds a little bulk to my keychain but I use one for my keychain flashlight and the other for my car key so I don't mess up my car's ignition. Tried pineapple on pizza and it's ok, I wouldn't say it "belongs on pizza" but it's not terrible. Love what you do, keep the work up and you'll make it big. ❤
Great video, sir! Tiny tools are my favorite EDC videos I follow Ant Design for a while now. Pretty innovative in a very tight market. Also, about the Nextool piece, it's very easy to take out the knife of it, if you're (like me) from a place where you better stay away from carrying a knife altogether. I use to EDC it for a while
@@LandmanEDC The problem with Nextool and Chinese multi tools in general is the poor quality control. Mine had very poor scissors, which is why I quit carrying it.
I was kind of groovin' on that NexTool....but the link takes you to a very different product (no scissors, no pliers etc....) and I couldnt find the one you reviewed on their site.
If you like the Rough Ryder knife tool, you might like the A G Russell Steel Thumbnail. I've carried one on my keychain for years. Sandvik is a Swedish company that makes all sorts of mining and industrial gear. They also make steel. 14c28n is a steel they made as an exclusive for Kershaw originally. The formula started off as a razor blade steel - 13C26. Kershaw's blend increased the corrosion resistance and it's super tough. The carbides in it are very small. It doesn't keep an edge for that long, but it strops back easily, as you might guess from a razor blade steel. And it takes a really sharp edge because of those small carbides (again - as you might expect in a razor steel). My favorite sandwich is San Mai. ;-)
Just saw your channel. Enjoyed the video. I like quality mini tools in order to reduce the weight of the things that I carry. Currently, my favorite is the Gerber Dime. Maybe you're aware of a less expensive model.
For some reason, bit drivers tend to be on the expensive side. And the cheap ones you don't want to use at all. Don't know of another better or cheaper one, but I'll come back if I find one!
