MVDV, BJ, Solanke, Madders, Bergvall, Gray, Spence, Udogie, Sarr & pushing opportunities for Donley, Devine, Abbott & integrating Lankshear & Mikey Moore. Ruthlessly releasing players & reinventing gun players into new roles. My next expectation is Sarr in either LB or CDM or possibly wide. Pre-season half the fanbase were pushing Kulu out for good money to buy better players, but with some goal scoring improvements, growth & at 23 that's a potential Ballon D'Or winner. I realise he is only in top 10 in EPL but his attitude & mindset is absolutely elite. Am fully Ange in & potential contract extension by end of season
The team must win the next five league games - they are winnable, no excuses. Consistency is crucial now that Ange is in his second season. It will be pointless to beat Manchester United and then lose to Brighton, West Ham, and Fulham. We need to see some consistency this season, and next season we can aim for trophies.
I have to say…I just watched the match replay after I got off work…and Werner is the WORST finisher I have ever seen play in the front line for us. How many 1 on 1s will he miss before Ange decides never to play him again. Disgraceful. On another day that is exactly what will cost us points. Good team performance otherwise.
yes hes a pace merchant with no finishing or passing ability, only ever meant to be a bench option but unfortunately will have to start more than a few games due to depth problems especially with sonny injured
