    this video is perfect for learning the HX stomp and finally integrating it to a pedal board

    You literally do the best videos on line6 stuff. First presets I’ve ever bought has been your expanse seriously worth more than the price.

    i have Sennheiser open back head phones and two head rush monitors. 1 12" and an 8". actually at church I run to the 8" for personal modeler only monitor on short speaker stand aimed back at me- then run to FOH mixer. So I am not going through any other monitors unless they want me in and they can control how much with out messing up my mix.

    Jimmy, in order to make a fair comparison try using the CCA 16 to make it fair and then give me your opinion

      Yeah, that would be a good test. I’m not sure why they wanted me to pare these two specifically, or just highlight them both for different price ranges 🤷🏼

    Appreciate your content! At home I love playing my HX Stomp through my studio monitors. My issue is that I want to move to a standing desk setup that is basically cable-less with everything tucked in a cable management tray. However every time I switch from my audio interface to using my Stomp I have to pull the cables out of my interface and run them from the monitors to my Stomp on my pedalboard. It’s not ideal now and would be a mess if I implemented more tidy cable management. Thoughts?? 😅

      The HX Stomp can be it's own interface as you know, but you don't have to do that...I have my Focusrite Interface on my desk and just run my HX Stomp into it now

      @@HeyWorshipLeader thanks for the reply! Do you feel going through your interface has drawbacks? For me I feel it adds gain and latency. Perhaps your interface is a bit better, but not sure that would be it. I have a Presonus Studio 2|4

      @@HeyWorshipLeader actually last night I tried going in through my interface again and latency wasn’t as much as I remembered. Just barely noticeable if Im checking for it but stopped thinking about it once I was playing. I’ll have to go back and AB listening for the gain differences. I still think it sounds a bit different with Stomp as interface from a gain perspective which makes sense as Im literally dropping a gain stage (preamp on my interface)

    or you can use "return" in your amplifier to bypass the amp. how about using Yamaha THR with "flat" mode?

    • @HeyWorshipLeader
      @HeyWorshipLeader  Год назад

      If you do that, you’ll still be running into the power amp because the loop only skips the pre-amp. In that case you’ll just want to use a preamp model in the unit

    It's the same Company but supposedly CCA is the best of both

    Awesome video! Just a question, can I use something like the katana or catalyst and plug the hx stomp it to its Fx loop to bypass the modeller or the amp/cab of the speaker?
    Also, if I get the expanse pack, does that means that the essential worship pack is included? Thanks!

      Bypass the pre-amp of the Katana.

    • @HeyWorshipLeader
      @HeyWorshipLeader  Год назад

      I need to investigate those because I’ve never tried them. As far as the expanse pack, it does not include the essential pack

    +1 on using an interface for headphones over the unit headphone out. I was using my Two Notes Cab M with the headphone out for a while and was feeling a little un-impressed with the sound. Plugged it into my Steinberg U22 interface with the headphone out on it and it was like everything woke up. I just recently got a Fender Tone Master Pro and the headphone out feels a little underwhelming as well. Haven't put it through the interface yet, hope for the same result. Makes me wonder if these companies don't put much focus into the headphone out circuits.

    How do you get your mixes and hx stomp signals to your frfr speakers? Do you use a mixer? Is there some other technological wizardry that is out there to make it simple and easy?

      @@HeyWorshipLeader The notes of my guitar sounds kinda far away or buried in a large space but my reverb and delay dials are normal. It sounds way better when plugged into the left output

      I also wanna ask that will creating jailbreak patches in the POD GO cause problems when its updated with the upcoming firmware update
