I’ve been making hospital corners for decades. After watching your video tutorial, I now realize I had forgotten to tuck the lower fold. Thank you kindly for reminding me the correct way to make the corners. 🤗
Thanks for the video. Very much needed. I've just began my job as a housekeeper, at a hotel. This part, particularly, have had struggles with, timewise. Many thanks.
I'm folding the corners as you suggest. My problem is the queen sheet does not seem large enough to allow either corner to stay tucked in. One mattress is 11" thick, the other is 9". They both have the same problem.
I've always heard about these kind of corners but I've never actually known what they looked like or how to do them. 😮 Thank you for showing how to do it. It looks a lot easier to do than what I've been led to think! I'm going to start doing that now!
I remember my dad teaching me how to do hospital corners when I was young, but these days, unless I have guests over, I don't really try to do them anymore. I always kick the sheets up and off and all over during the night anyway whether I did the corners or not lol
This is so cool! I always wanted to know how to do this (along with how to fold King size fitted sheets) so this video was great. I'm going to go practice.
Thank you! I've got a video on how to fold a fitted sheet as well but I use a Queen for the demo: www.mattressclarity.com/blog/how-to-fold-a-fitted-sheet/
@@Mattressclarity Great!!! You are going to get me into shape yet, with sharp corners and a linen closet that doesn't look like a bomb went off in it - LOL! Thanks so much!
What do you do when there isn’t anything to tuck in for bottom bit?or tucking in two layers? I try with my blanket and top sheet but it’s so hard to do because I can’t see both layers
Is this even possible to do on a low profile platform bed? I can do hospital corners but since moving recently I had to get a new bed. I got the Worth bed by Modloft. I've yet to be able to make a hospital corner on this bed because of the low profile and the mattress is sun 3.5 inches into the frame. I love the bed but how do I get hospital corners back? ;( I want my waterbed back...so much easier & more comfortable.

Glad it helped!
same here, finally someone who didn't show it at a horrible angle lol
As a single man who watched about 5 of these videos, yours was the one that made it click. Thank you

Instructions were clear enough for me, a college male in their 20s, to follow along. Thank you
Yes, this was the norm in my house as parents & grandparents were vets & nurses. Friends always lol @ how our beds were always "so neat & fancy".
Sweet!, now I know how to make my bed look sharp. Thank you for showing an easy way to do this, very easy to follow. :)
Thank you!
Thanks for this. I’m gonna have to try it out. Seems simple enough.
In the days before fitted sheets....we made hospital corners on all 4 sides for the bottom sheet! I was like 8 years old when I learned!
The clearest video explains how to make Hospital Corners
Thank you! Very clear, easy to follow instructions.
You're welcome!
1:02 for actual instructions. Thanks for the video!
I loved this technique. I learned how to do the hospital corners; while doing my CNA-1 clinicals back in the year of 2,000.

Thank you for this excellent tutorial. I'm definitely going to practice this. I love neat corners but mine are always messy.
Thank for sharing this vides🥰🥰🥰I've watched again a few more and I realized I was missing a step/fold
Nice video very helpful
Glad it helped!

Oh my goodness 😃 Thank you . No wonder I could never get the hang , I'd always start at the corner!
Very informative. Thank you!
This is gonna help you guys at USAF BMT!

Thank you for teaching us!
Any time
Thank you, you have saved my life :)
Well done! Very helpful! I think the fitted sheet on the mattress was a mistake. Try a flat sheet and more hospital corners
Yay!
I’m watching this to pass my inspection.

I am going to have to practice this. Looks nice!
In the military we use clipboards or rulers to help tuck and fold make like extra nice
Hey do I need a bigger sheet if I have a full size bed? Or can I just use full size bed sheets?
What do you do when there isn’t anything to tuck in for bottom bit?or tucking in two layers? I try with my blanket and top sheet but it’s so hard to do because I can’t see both layers

I am 1st Year B.sc Nursing I am Clearly Understand to fold the Bed Mam Thank you Mam 😊
Keeping the sheet snug and free of wrinkles plays a major part in reducing bedsores and other issues to sensitive, easily damaged skin.
So hospital corners are applied only three out four sides of the bed? I've been doing it wrong then.
translation: my sheets arent long enough. imma need a king set for this queen
Question is what if the sheets aren’t are long enough for a king?
It was helpful thanks
Ok. So that works great, but I've got an elevated bed with like draws and stuff underneath it, so it's really hard to make it. Any tips?
I have been doing it wrong all along. Thank you so much for the info. No more exposed feet in the middle of the night! ☺️
Thank you!
Nice. Thanks
Every time I ask my mom to help me she want, Thanks for the video!! My mom says do it your own way!She gets irritated when I ask questions like that
Are these hospital corner done for all four edges of the bed? 🤔
Thanks babes💕

I have to do this at an elderly clients house when I clean, I always feel I never get it perfectly. Hopefully this helps lol
I love hospital corners but I like the sides to hang not tucked in.,
I love ur accent, where are u from
By the way, nice vdo
miter corner military bed corner
is that a mattress protector on the bed
Im watching this because of training housekeeping at the assisted living home 😩
Just please do it for me
Me : watches 8 times
My brain : you ready for encampment now?
Me : again
So what do you do if the side of the mattress is right against a wall??
I prefer the updated method its more natrual and dont seems to angled
Awesom ❤️
I’m left handed it’s hard to follow these directions. Is there hope for me
So that's what it's called!
That’s not how my aunt did hospital corners. You can’t see the triangle in hers. Just a line straight down.
I don't fold in the sides so that way it is all ready when I go to bed!!
I feel dumb when it comes to the most simple stuff. Can put sheets on good in every way other than this thing
Much better video. Ballard Designs went too fast
The army tuck is what i know it as
Lord help her. TI would definitely be unhappy with you.

“They use this method in the military”
Me 💡
Yells at ex military husband “HEY CAN YOU DO THE SHEETS?”
Problem solved.
Still waiting for the light bulb.
legit everywhere i go someone says the hospital corner is different, so I am just confused now haha.
Always make the bed this way but it doesn't last through the night
I gotta fold the fuckin' BEDS!!!
Except that's not a proper hospital corner. A hospital corner has no diagonal, just a line at the corner. This is...odd and it looks a mess.
My sheets shrink
one does not simply fold sheets... 🤔...he folds with hospital corners
More camera angles would be helpful. Makes no damn sense
You are talking way too fast for me!
Then slow the video down
I'll have to try this. It looks so nice and I bet its comfy for your toes!!
