There are two taxis association in Bulawayo namely Tshova mubaiwa with gold and white colour then Bulawayo Urban Passenger Transaport Association (BUPTA) with blue line accross the car with the initials BUPTA.

In most urban areas wr they're found they're planted lined up along the street & in sm parts like in Harare there's a street where they've grown inward overshadowing the street from both sides of the road, creating a tunnel of purple flowers & foliage OMG its so beautiful😊
I think the most amazing place in Zim is Great Zimbabwe, there's something really mystical and beautiful about walking around the ruins and seeing all the ancient artefacts a close second is Matopo Hills just outside Bulawayo then Vic falls

It all boils down to your worldview. Personally, l always chose to foster unity among Afrikans. There’s a lot more commonality between all of us than differences. Even if we are not explicitly talking of the Ndebele people, the Shona have vast similarities with most South African cultures (just like with all our other neighbors).

Some places to go in Bulawayo and around. You can go to 1.Makokoba (The oldest Suburb in Byo), 2. Blue Hills, 3. Matobo Hill (Cecil J Rhodes grave is there), 4. The Byo Museum, Blue Hills, 5. NUST University (a great interaction with the students and the radio), 6. Art Gallery in the CBD, 7. City Hall (has the oldest well, also traditional attire is sold there) 8. A visit to someone like Albert Nyathi who can give you and the audiance a great History of Matebele people and the Great City of Bulawayo.
That young girl in the beginning is a disgrace. Food wise Zimbabwe share the same kind of food. Yes people in Bulawayo worship South Africa a lot. From music,dress code, the way they talk, their tone, their behaviour. That's why the City of Bulawayo is slowly occupied by the people from other provinces. They're all running away to South Africa. In my class of 2004 at Njube High school only 7 boys left out of 15 ..they left for South Africa. I love Bulawayo more than Harare though.

As Zimbabweans let's love ourselves and not use SA as a measure of anything, we are a unique people more respectful than the people we equate ourselves to and mostly we value life. They don't see us the same way as we see them, so let's stop looking at SA as a big bro/sis, look at them as our neighbors that they are, respect them, but most of all lets respect ourselves. Tell our children the truth, you are not welcome there. Unfortunately SA party culture attracts the worst of us and they assume all Zimbos are like that. There are more than 15mil people in Zim, we love Zim and we will stay here.
The young one is only 16 , most probably her parents are shielding her from the truth, but one day she will see the video of Elvis being burnt alive she will know we are not the same and there is nothing to be proud of in using a foreign currency.
As a South African, I approve your message. Your history is just as rich and interesting. Tell your stories with having to attach to South Africa. But at the same time, we should not neglect to educate each other about our common heritage. To be honest, some South africans distance themselves from Zimbabweans simply because of economics, nothing more. When I was young Zimbabweans were well respected by South Africans. To my Ndebele people in Zim, please don't distance yourself from other groups in Zim by saying you are different and are from South Africa. One of the things that make South africans clash with Zimbabweans is that some Ndebele come to S.A with an entitlement mentality that S.A is their ancestoral land, that rubs some people the wrong way.

Some places to go in Bulawayo and around. You can go to 1.Makokoba (The oldest Suburb in Byo),
2. Blue Hills,
3. Matobo Hill (Cecil J Rhodes grave is there),
4. The Byo Museum, Blue Hills,
5. NUST University (a great interaction with the students and the radio),
6. Art Gallery in the CBD,
7. City Hall (has the oldest well, also traditional attire is sold there)
8. A visit to someone like Albert Nyathi who can give you and the audiance a great History of Matebele people and the Great City of Bulawayo.

Indeed Bulawayo is the best city in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 and its up for debate by those in Harare but truly Bulawayo is a wonder of a city.
It really is.
That young girl in the beginning is a disgrace. Food wise Zimbabwe share the same kind of food. Yes people in Bulawayo worship South Africa a lot. From music,dress code, the way they talk, their tone, their behaviour. That's why the City of Bulawayo is slowly occupied by the people from other provinces. They're all running away to South Africa. In my class of 2004 at Njube High school only 7 boys left out of 15 ..they left for South Africa. I love Bulawayo more than Harare though.

As Zimbabweans let's love ourselves and not use SA as a measure of anything, we are a unique people more respectful than the people we equate ourselves to and mostly we value life. They don't see us the same way as we see them, so let's stop looking at SA as a big bro/sis, look at them as our neighbors that they are, respect them, but most of all lets respect ourselves. Tell our children the truth, you are not welcome there. Unfortunately SA party culture attracts the worst of us and they assume all Zimbos are like that. There are more than 15mil people in Zim, we love Zim and we will stay here.
The young one is only 16 , most probably her parents are shielding her from the truth, but one day she will see the video of Elvis being burnt alive she will know we are not the same and there is nothing to be proud of in using a foreign currency.

As a South African, I approve your message. Your history is just as rich and interesting. Tell your stories with having to attach to South Africa. But at the same time, we should not neglect to educate each other about our common heritage. To be honest, some South africans distance themselves from Zimbabweans simply because of economics, nothing more. When I was young Zimbabweans were well respected by South Africans. To my Ndebele people in Zim, please don't distance yourself from other groups in Zim by saying you are different and are from South Africa. One of the things that make South africans clash with Zimbabweans is that some Ndebele come to S.A with an entitlement mentality that S.A is their ancestoral land, that rubs some people the wrong way.
