    Our best camera is the Canon Vixia HF G30. It is more expensive than the newer models so if you're looking for a mid-level Video Camera I would get the newest model which is here amzn.to/3htJvJE
    The mic goes on the G30 and is here amzn.to/3hmMDqr
    We used a Canon Vixia HF R600. The 800 is even better and here is the link amzn.to/3iAnFo5

    If someone can come up with parasite resistant boer goat's whith good mothering instincts, man you'd really have something there.

      I started out with a mixed herd of boers and Boer/Kiko cross. I’ve got one Boer left out of 80 that made it with no wormer no grain and is fatter than a pig eating forage. But only one haha

    I have found your channel and enjoy it i have raised 100% registered Myotonics for the last 7 to 8 years and over the last year have started making the switch to the Kiko goat. last year i did some myotonic Kiko crosses which have turned out good. I stopped using the 100% myotonic because of the slow growth rate but other than that the myotonic are great goats, great mothers and good on parasite resistance

    What kind of plants (white flowers) they are eating? Did you plant them? Love your cute goats. Just wondering why you chose corn to feed your goats? Corns GMOs make animals sick. You can have ALL these super food around them for free. Thank you for your lovely video.

    • @addisonranch
      @addisonranch  Год назад +2

      Those white bulbs are arrow leaf clover. Agreed on the corn. I only use it if I need to do something with them. Here I’m trying to get them comfortable being around the Spanish Goats. Thanks for the comment and watching.

    What about just using Boer Billies and making a terminal cross since parasites are your main concern ? Even if you had to worm kids once the incentive on growth rates and the market end would more than cover additional cost. I think you have it figured out what works for you but personally I dont like the fainting or heavy influence of Nigerian on the new crossbred billies

    • @addisonranch
      @addisonranch  Год назад +1

      Don’t think I didn’t consider the Boer. With no worming of any kind I just wasn’t comfortable with the risk. I am starting the Myotonic as a terminal cross but I think I could keep them as Nannie’s if I had to and not miss a beat with the parasite control. Thanks for all the great input Jason and thanks for watching.

    No no boar goats are jusd to parasite prone. I have kiko & kiko boar crosss. The Kiko is so parasite resistant. I dont ever need to trear any kinko under they are over age 7 or 8. The kiko boar cross the same. But dam them straight boars if you dont warm from kid on you have dead goats.
    Sam is worth his weight in gold. I run goat for a goat Rental biz and do the same with any new goata. Slow interdiction to the dogs.

      I don’t think the Kiko would improve meat to bone ratio like the myotonic. My “KIKO” is the Spanish.
