  • Track did dry up since last stint this morning, but I was struggling with the grip as you can see.

      I love it 🤩. I have still a lot to learn, but I'm getting there and soon will be at the point of trying out different things and being able to compare😋

    138 kph is quick top speed for a single speed kart.

    What's the software you use for all data (speed, lap times, laps, etc) ?

    • @MichaVerboeket
      @MichaVerboeket  3 года назад +4

      I use Race Render 3 software. It uses the GoPro Hero 7 Black Telemetry/GPS data to create the statistics overlays, or in case of sometimes bad GPS signals you can manually enter the laptimes that you can gather after the stints (from the laptimer). I did customize the gauges/visuals a bit to my style of course, but the software has many different templates to use.

    I have a crg road rebel chassis lime new in my basement with a rotax FR125 max non evo motor with micron4....sadly after handful of times at track it froze over night in garage and cracked the water jacket in the cylinder😞 has been sitting for 7 years...whats it worth? Literally no scratches under frame

      Prolly about 1 and a half grand if you get the cylinder fixed

      @@user-yu8bb8oq4h ooo if its only worth that it can just sit n collect dust ...thought it was more since the rollers are $4k

      @@CainSample lmao I'm in your position however I cracked the piston through excessive use with a low oil percentage in my fuel. Now I'm contemplating just buying an Evo since it's already expensive to buy a new piston and cylinder...

      ?? what are you referring to exactly? 😅

    • @twain1669
      @twain1669 3 года назад +1

      @@MichaVerboeket Place your hands at 9 and 3 o'clock. In that way you have better control, can be more consistent in steering and have better idea of what your front wheels are doing. It is also a lot, A LOT safer, for you and for other drivers!

    • @MichaVerboeket
      @MichaVerboeket  3 года назад

      @@twain1669 Sharp eye 😉 A bit more 10-2 instead of 9-3 works fine for me in this video 😋. I'm a bit too tall for this kart even after adjusting seats etc, so when holding the steering weel a bit lower 9-3 results in my elbow being locked in the corners, which is definitely not safe 😅. In other karts I'm holding more 9-3 indeed.

    can this kart reach140km/h?

    • @MichaVerboeket
      @MichaVerboeket  2 года назад +1

      You refer to the readings on the steering wheel laptimer? The calibration of the laptimer is indeed a bit off, so as you can see 130 on the laptimer is 100 irl/gps

      Maybe in a straight long enough. 🤔
      In Kart Racing Pro I reach 114Kmph in the KF3 and 119Kmph in the F100.
      But sometimes a lower top speed gives you better lap times because it gets out of the corners quicker.
