Ik I just joined the channel but please be careful I was going thru RUclips and seen a video of nux his followers are planning on going after anything related to taiga which pisses me off. Taiga did nothing but from someone who cares please be careful there trying to attack anything from others.

It's utterly repulsive that one mentally ill stalker can have this much of an impact on platforms the size of RUclips and Twitter. How lacking are these moderation systems to allow that to happen? These sites are failing their creators.

for Twitter, Elon fired the entire moderation team and leaves it up to AI entirely but for youtube, the site is just to massive, lets say 0.01% of users send in a report per day, youtube has 122 million users per day, thats still 12 thousand reports per day (rounded down from 12,200), if you had 100 people 24/7 monitoring reports that would still not be enough, lets say each person gets 4 reports done per hour, that assumes 15 mins per report to actually read through it and make sure its legitimate (search up who the content creator is, browse their content, see if they have been in any controversy that may have lead to the report) with 100 people with 4 reports per hour (any more then that and they wouldn't have the time to validate it) would get you 9,600 reports done a day, thats less then 12 thousand you'd be getting per day, not to mention how impossible making a system would be that 100 people all access at once in real time, its just not possible, youtube is to massive for humans to monitor and AI sucks ass at it
I feel for him. I use to be in the same mindset set that he’s in and it isn’t great to say the least. Feeling like you had to work at least twice as hard, if not decently harder, to just keep pace with others. Being disregarded by others at every little thing that occurs, and to the point where you don’t feel cared for since every part of what others say clearly only shows interest in themselves and no one else. It seems like he is unlikely get through this and if he does I wouldn’t be surprised if he has to continue dealing with this kind of bullshit. I hope he comes up with an exit plan so he can leave and have a happy life.

If it's the crazy rich dude stalker he will have a lot of money at his disposal to drag out the litigation while being able to hire a good lawyer. Lawsuits are extremely expensive and take many months and someone a year or two before having your day in court.

But it's also pretty unlikely Taiga will come back. RUclips is pretty known for sticking to their guns when it comes to Channel Termination
@@varietychan Dani, a game dev, had his account banned for years I think but was still able to come back. At this point, we all need to spam RUclips on all social media platforms so their actual team can address this. The other choice is for him to stream on pron sites but not actually do pron. For example, on pron sites, pirates are streaming full movies. Taiga may find a haven there since the moderators on pron sites only strike down g0re or p3do stuff.
I legitimately feel so bad for them, they've essentially been deplatformed off all social media and nobody with a platform is even willing to speak up about it. I'd have a mental breakdown too if I went through what Taiga's gone through.
Not sure if he'll like this being uploaded, BUT hopefully this does bring more attention to this situation and more people will ACTUALLY talk about it.

I will say, Taiga put out a message on Discord that thanked everyone for the support and sounded a little more hopeful. I wanted to offer my services as a therapist, but I'm sure Taiga already has one, and given her history with all of this, she probably wouldn't want some rando prying into her personal life. I'm hopeful that Taiga will be okay, and the community over there is brainstorming like mad to hopefully find some solution.

I found a couple posts on twitter showing the guy bragging about the false reports and included links to those in my report of the VintageBassArchive channel. Hopefully RUclips takes action not just agaisnt the channel for false reporting, but also corrects the false bans due to those false reports. Highly unlikely, but who knows.
I feel so bad for him. He got utterly ruined because snowflakes got on the bandwagon to bully and berate Taiga. He doesn't deserve any of this and people need to show him love. People need to grow up and stop destroying good people like this.

That's exactly what I was thinking. The only thing that would make me stop wanting to see him, to support him, would be a compromising exposure about something bad that he tried to hide, which I don't think there is. I wish I could tell him personally that he has an audience that really likes him, regardless of what platforms he has. If there continues to be a way to see him, interact, knowing that he's okay is enough.

Nux is one of if not the biggest scum bags on this platform. Him and Charlie need to talk about the situation and take responsibility for not getting the full context. I can't pretend to know what Taiga needs to do; after all, it's not like there's some trick or miracle that'll instantly fix all of Taiga's problems. At this point I’m just gonna start tuning in. Not to mention no I haven’t used twitch in forever, but because of that I can’t even stomach just being in the dark. Honestly, I’ve started watching clips more recently in the past year or 2 and Taiga was the most prominent of many. Seeing how they found the dude responsible and is getting “justice” for it gives me a little bit of hope for the situation. Hearing a once happy going person start speaking in a saddened monotoned person is actually horrific. Not something I want to hear ever again but I do hope he gets better despite what has happened.
This is honestly become incredibly unsettling. Months ago Taiga was incredibly happy and silly, but now he just sounds so damn defeated and depressed. I never regularly watched Taiga's content--but of all the videos I _Have_ seen, He doesn't deserve this. Its so disheartening to see someone who was once really cheerful and full of happiness sound so defeated and exhausted. And there's still the clique of vtubers and others claiming Taiga is a p3do and threat to children, which all started because Taiga wouldn't bang one of his mods and one of his fans and one of his mods was removed for potentially s3xting minors.

I think the problem is not that "nobody" cares. Plenty of people care even those that aren't regular Taiga watchers, because this can happen to anyone and it is clearly a missuse of reporting systems. The problem is nobody that has a BIG FOLLOWING cares, if someone with 500k Subs talked about this I'm sure it would get adressed in some way, this is something that concerns all content creators big and small.

This seems to happen a few times every year: disgruntled fan either mass reports a RUclipsr himself or with friends and they get taken down. It's crazy how any of that is allowed.
This is so painful to listen to - he has been so beaten down by the weight of all the false reporting and harassment directed at him that he sounds like he's given up hope of things getting better. I hope he's got family and close IRL friends around him to be a support to him through all this garbage. I don't normally go in for saying anything that sounds insulting or rude, but this is directed at whoever is behind the campaign against Taiga: Are you getting some kind of enjoyment out of the fact that you're destroying someone? Is that what gives your miserable lives meaning?
I've never liked that much of his content, never watched his streams, but I never thought that he truly deserved something like this. This is what people mean when they say allogations still hurt lives. Even if they're false. Taiga didn't do anything wrong, I've never even watched Taiga, never even heard of him before. This is horrible.
I never actually watch any vtuber streams, but I always enjoyed watching clips of them; Taiga was definitely up there, probably the top spot of my favorite clips to see. I can't believe all of this is happening to him with little to no coverage from anyone. Such horrible things are happening and it's like there's just not enough discussion surrounding what's going on. The people who are doing this; why? They get spurned, so they have to ruin his life? It makes so little sense. If you truly love something, you don't destroy it. I don't understand how people can be like this.
I can't say I know what it's like to go through what he's gone through, because that would be a huge lie, especially since I've never been a streamer. However, I, like most people, know what it's like to go through tough shit. It's much worse in his case, and he's obviously very strong to even have made it this far through the glass he's crawling through, but I hope he keeps fighting. He really deserves to see the ither side of this. I know what it's like having your name drug through the mud, so I eagerly wait for the hopeful moment where things turn around for him.

for Twitter, Elon fired the entire moderation team and leaves it up to AI entirely
but for youtube, the site is just to massive, lets say 0.01% of users send in a report per day, youtube has 122 million users per day, thats still 12 thousand reports per day (rounded down from 12,200), if you had 100 people 24/7 monitoring reports that would still not be enough, lets say each person gets 4 reports done per hour, that assumes 15 mins per report to actually read through it and make sure its legitimate (search up who the content creator is, browse their content, see if they have been in any controversy that may have lead to the report) with 100 people with 4 reports per hour (any more then that and they wouldn't have the time to validate it) would get you 9,600 reports done a day, thats less then 12 thousand you'd be getting per day, not to mention how impossible making a system would be that 100 people all access at once in real time, its just not possible, youtube is to massive for humans to monitor and AI sucks ass at it

I feel for him. I use to be in the same mindset set that he’s in and it isn’t great to say the least. Feeling like you had to work at least twice as hard, if not decently harder, to just keep pace with others. Being disregarded by others at every little thing that occurs, and to the point where you don’t feel cared for since every part of what others say clearly only shows interest in themselves and no one else. It seems like he is unlikely get through this and if he does I wouldn’t be surprised if he has to continue dealing with this kind of bullshit. I found a couple posts on twitter showing the guy bragging about the false reports and included links to those in my report of the VintageBassArchive channel. Hopefully RUclips takes action not just agaisnt the channel for false reporting, but also corrects the false bans due to those false reports. Highly unlikely, but who knows.

That's exactly what I was thinking. The only thing that would make me stop wanting to see him, to support him, would be a compromising exposure about something bad that he tried to hide, which I don't think there is.

I can't pretend to know what Taiga needs to do; after all, it's not like there's some trick or miracle that'll instantly fix all of Taiga's problems. All I know is that I don't want him to give up, not just for his sake or for the sake of the fans, but to get back at the people trying to hold him back and bring him down, to not let them win and take control of his life away from him. Jesus it hurts to hear him say that nobody cares and even if someone makes a video it wont matter in a week...I recently heard about his story for that one video and the hype from it died down but taiga was alteast happy it was postive.. and then his twitter gets take down and nothing... nobody cared or could do anything.. he is constantly harrased and blacklisted by losers on the internet as he is slowly suffocated off the internet. At this point I’m just gonna start tuning in. Not to mention no I haven’t used twitch in forever, but because of that I can’t even stomach just being in the dark. Honestly, I’ve started watching clips more recently in the past year or 2 and Taiga was the most prominent of many. Seeing how they found the dude responsible and is getting “justice” for it gives me a little bit of hope for the situation. Hearing a once happy going person start speaking in a saddened monotoned person is actually horrific. Not something I want to hear ever again but I do hope he gets better despite what has happened.
This is honestly become incredibly unsettling. Months ago Taiga was incredibly happy and silly, but now he just sounds so damn defeated and depressed. I can't say I blame him for feeling this way, but I'm starting to worry about him mentally. Whoever is doing this seems to genuinely want him to go down this path. The only question I have is just why? Why is this stalker so obsessed with Taiga, why are they so hellbent on ruining his life? It's just awful to witness, especially given how much we know he's been through prior to all this happening. I am hoping larger vtubers eventually speak up against this because this has getting severely out of hand, and if it gets any worse, well I don't even wanna think about what could happen.

I never regularly watched Taiga's content--but of all the videos I _Have_ seen, He doesn't deserve this. Its so disheartening to see someone who was once really cheerful and full of happiness sound so defeated and exhausted.

What do they have to gain by ruining someone's life, and hardwork? His content wasn't something I always tuned into, but everytime I did I always got a laugh, or a lot of entertainment out of. I think the problem is not that "nobody" cares. Plenty of people care even those that aren't regular Taiga watchers, because this can happen to anyone and it is clearly a missuse of reporting systems.
The problem is nobody that has a BIG FOLLOWING cares, if someone with 500k Subs talked about this I'm sure it would get adressed in some way, this is something that concerns all content creators big and small.

The issue is that a mentally unhinged person went out of his way to pursue it for a vtuber he doesn't like, and now he's threatening to do it to other people. There are worse channels out there doing lewder stuff, but the rules are unevenly applied and being used as a bludgeon by stalkers.

I can't say I know what it's like to go through what he's gone through, because that would be a huge lie, especially since I've never been a streamer. However, I, like most people, know what it's like to go through tough shit.
