Such a bummer that you folks couldn't go longer, but hands down one of the best episodes. Really great to hear scientific insight from someone who truly knows skateboarding and the culture. Insightful, stimulating and humorous all at the same time.
I was never a fan of huberman, but this show turned me around. The force of his humanity got Jason to interrupt less and join the conversation in a more normal manner. It allowed me to more fully appreciate Tony's personality and history, his life is amazing and this podcast will take off if Tony is more consistently allowed to shape the flow. If they have to humanize Jason to make the show work, then, so be it
This is a great episode to share a bit of how what Andrew was talking about in terms of daily motion: I'm a fibromyalgia sufferer and have been really bad this year. This podcast has brought me back out skating, as I'm sure it has for many of you, but that's also directly impacting how severe my neurological symptoms are. I am certain the daily movement and sweating out on the concave again has increased positive thinking, creativity, and increased appetite. I'm getting my 24 hour reup of movement, sun, social, and food! This was a great guest. Thank you so much for everything
First time I knew Jason Ellis had comedy chops was 411 #11 on the Australia tour.. keep going my dude.. this episode was perfect to watch at this point in my life.. 3 legends in one room at the same time.. if you ever need someone to score an official podcast theme song let me know 😎
Hawk and Wolf has taken over my last few days. Love this pod man. My knowledge of skateboarding is limited but I can still enjoy this stuff because of the stories and chemistry between the hosts. Love from Scotland :)
Man guy's!!! I think what you two are doing is wicked man !!! I have been hooked from the first show !!!! Both of you and numerous of your guests I have been a huge fan from the early days of skating!!!
i been smokin cannabis since i was 14, and im almost 38 now. ive had side effects from other things, but not from weed. much respect for the skateboarding and the content. yall r awesome! i tried skateboarding around the same tme i started smokin, but i couldnt land tricks on comand. i would land sumthin that i wasnt trying like by accident trying sumthin else. i didnt have the control skating needed.
Thank you! This was an excellent podcast. I'm a huge fan of Huberman so that's what brought me here. Sent it to my 16year old skateboarding son so he can see another side of Andrew and hopefully take more of his advise ongoing. 🙏
Jason your such a great person. You can just tell by listening, from the bottom of your taint, you're a real gem!! :D Love from NB canada!. Cheers Mate.
I dont get what Jason means He IS ALREADY SUPER FUNNY! Like he genuinely made me laugh out loud duting this podcast like 4 or 5 times. And I think he is someone who seems genuinely funny, you know? Like he doesn’t need to force it cuz it seems to come effortlessly to him. Maybe in stand up there is a bigger pressure to just land jokes ALL THE TIME, you can see that the comedian is trying his hardest. but my favorite comedians are the ones who says smth funny when you least expect it and it just leaves everyone rolling on the floor laughin
This is a whole coming full circle thing I think. Oh wow. Glad you finally made it on this one. I think you’ve really made quite the trajectory. Thanks for all that you do Dr. Hu
great show. ocean howell went to college an is very smart . sk8ing as been part of who i am at a deep level since i was 7 yrs old an still see things n everyday life threw that scope at 45. i carry my board it my truck everyday always have always will.
I remember being 14 getting ready to street skate with my 20 something year old brother at 10 at night and he handed me a black coffee and said this is how you drink it. Been hooked ever sense.
Tony Jason love the show keep up the great work. I have a question for the both of you guys. Does Neil blender ever do any type of interviews that would be mindbending if you guys could get him on there he’s had about every other famous artist, but Glendare wow that would be awesome. Have a great day gentlemen keep up the great work like I said, look forward to every episode you to make a great couple in media.
Haha same here. I’ve only watched a handful of clips of him and I’m sick of his shtick. He’s gotta be the driest, most square human to have ever skated 😂 sorry not sorry. But hey, maybe I’ll watch this Ep and be proven wrong, let’s hope so…🙉
I work at a roller skating rink as a dj an roller guard an help people learn to skate, was wondering what is some music y’all listen to before or during a skate sesh
Would be awesome if they got Reynolds on the show. He and Tony go way back; Reynolds started his career on Birdhouse. I'm sure there would be some great stories.
holy cannoli this ones a womper! .. yo at about an hour seven min in Hawk talking acupuncture experience is legit, Ive been telling people for over 30 years and they rarely believe me lol • • best thing i did for myself as a teenager
Thank you for hosting me, Tony and Jason. You guys are a class act and yes, indeed, Tony’s parents took me in when I was 14. It all comes full circle!
Good to know other side of yours Dr. Andrew
Great pod!
You always distill biological knowledge into language that's diggable to the layman, thanks Doc!
Love your insights andrew keep up the good work
Great interview Andrew. I'm now heading over to your podcast to listen to the Sam Harris and Rick Rubin episodes..
It’s sweet when both sides respect and are in awe of each other/ the story about Tony’s dad taking him in as a stray is really really heartwarming

Wish you guys could have gone on longer. It was great to hear Huberman's story about Hawks parents. push love!
I love how Tony and Jason get on so well with everyone. They're so lovable.
This is the most comfortable and relaxed I’ve seen Andrew.
The mix of personalities is this podcast was epic. Really pegging the entertainment scale here boys Great show.
The story about Tony Hawk's parents taking in Andrew Huberman is amazing. Those are some good caring parents.
You dudes are the only ones who's ads I don't even skip on here since the new format. You just keep getting better and better, thank you! 💚
100%
Yeah, I can't think of anyone else whose ads are actually entertaining.

15:48 Tony's face at Jason's question 🤣
As a 57 yr old skater who still skates with his 13 year old son that was fucking awesome and made me super happy
Awesome! I’m 46. My 10 year old son never picked up skating but my 5 year old loves skateboarding. I’m looking forward to skating with my son!

Never watched you guys before, but this is excellent!
Andrew is important
Smart move dude for no longer fighting, you'll need those neurons firing for your career in comedy.
Tony Jason love the show keep up the great work. I have a question for the both of you guys. Geeze. Between the 9 club, two bears, rogan, now this show, I think I’ve had enough huberman to last me a good while 😂
Haha same here. I’ve only watched a handful of clips of him and I’m sick of his shtick. He’s gotta be the driest, most square human to have ever skated 😂 sorry not sorry. But hey, maybe I’ll watch this Ep and be proven wrong, let’s hope so…🙉
@AngelofDethMetal IDK if you're watching yet but this is so whack LOL. dude is so corny, and clearly adderalled up
I agree as well. I still haven’t seen any clips of him skating either. He’s a more confident version of Mikey Alfred. Both cringe to listen too 👎
Nah I love nerd talk. It’s awesome
Y'all must not be getting enough of that sunlight in your eyes, first thing in the mornings...
Great show.
Very intelligent stuff💯💪 godspeed guys🙏🙌

Would be awesome if they got Reynolds on the show. He and Tony go way back; Reynolds started his career on Birdhouse. I'm sure there would be some great stories.
That trophy room part reminds me of Ray Finkle
Keep to it Jas....
Anytime Andrew Huberman is really excited you’ll see veins bulge on his forehead, a good laugh normally causes that! I enjoyed this
Your brain will thank you j!
Jason: "I'm very intelligent."
Also Jason: "Why do I have hair?"
Lulz
Wolf fight dinosaur awwww what a cutie
steve cab loved the bleached hair
HEY TONY! DOPE HOODIE!
I’d like to see Jason try to drop in on Rollerblades. If he does I’ll learn word on a board 🏄🏼♀️
