I appreciate your video for being so transparent about how long recovery can be. I had both upper and lower blepharoplasty done 15 days ago. Like you I´ve always found there was something wrong with my eyes, not really hooded eyes, but still some genetic hooding and always been spending a fortune on creams for eyebags! Wish I had this done earlier. I still look a bit crazy, even if I can see improvement every day. Bruising was intense, as was swelling, but most of it is gone now with lots of homeopathic arnica and bromelain tablets as well as creams, however the part of the bruising that was extremely dark (almost black) and huge next to one of my eyes will probably require several more weeks to fade. I bought light coloured (pink, and purple) eyeglasses before surgery, so that I can more easily wear sunglasses indoors. I wish I had had my eyelashes coloured pre surgery, because not wearing eye makeup and having blonde lashes is not fun! I did think about it but since I was in India at the time and had not brought coloration kit, I did not see that lash coloration was offered in any beauty salon. Apart from hiding my eyes from most people now, I also find it challenging not to exercise as usual as well as to sleep on lots of pillows on my back (really hurts my back). But I´d still recommend it, for people who have time for the recovery.

Wow how exciting for you to have just gone through this! Although the healing process is long and not super fun, you are going to love the results (you must already see them partially 😊) The eyelash coloration kit is a good idea, I never thought of that! You will have so much fun trying different make up and coloring eyelashes when you're completely healed! Thanks for sharing your experience! 😘

Did you put ice on your eyes about 4-5 times a day during the first week post surgery?

Yes! I had bought one of those gel eye masks you keep in the fridge and it was nice, but my doctor had told me a few times a day for 5 minutes 👍

Mine didn’t work. I had a fold next to my left eye. I wanted to get rid of that. But dr said had to do both eyes so they match. Well he redid the left eye two more times ( 3 times total ) and I still have a fold. I don’t see a difference at all and it was expensive. I’m not very happy with mine !

Oh no I'm so sorry to hear that! That's so disappointing 😕 Did you get a second opinion?
