The Small Box is good, but the gain structure switch seems pretty subtle. I am likely to remove this from my pedalboard as I have a BE-OD Deluxe and am getting a second Dirty Shirley. I really wish Dave would release a Dirty Shirley Deluxe/Twin Sister pedal. One Dirty Shirley has the gain trim pot at around 12:30, while the other will have it close to 9:30-10:00, which is stock. The BE-OD Deluxe and a Dirty Shirley Deluxe/Twin Sister pedal would cover all of my needs.

That's including classic overdrive / distortion/ fuzz / boost pedals, but this amp pedal is the best gainpedal of 2020 imho. Yes, I know there are people who prefer the moving sliders thingie, but hey. I'm just a normal player. That thing costs more than my Boss Katana Artist, so no thank you.
Everything is set pretty much 12 o’clock. I’m on the pushed clean setting so the core tone is just on the edge of break up. More of a vintage style clean. The Mini Rec is such a Swiss Army knife of an amp.

Hi, between small box and Soldano SLo which One is more better.
Neither are better, they’re very different. Friedman is a hot rod plexi whilst the SLO is the SLO. I guess it’s down to what you’re looking for.
