- This week I try out the @kentfaith.official K&F Concept Magnetic ND Filter Kit.
With a trip to both the East and West coast, I use the filters to get some fine-art style long exposure images.
Spurn Point and Marys Shell, East coast to West coast in one video.

Love the fine art shots
Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
Like you i also suggested to K&F about replacing the grad with a cpl. I find them really good value and have so far had no issue with quality, no colour cast , really been impressed with them.
They really are great.
Had them in the wife’s camera for about a year… so when they reached out, I was already a convert 🙂
Some lovely images here Garry well done. Liking the fine art style too 👍👍
Thank you Simon. 👍
Thanks for an interesting video with some great images. I have been using K&F magnetic filters for quite a while and I have found them to be great value for money and quality. As you have said the convenience of magnetic filters makes them so easy to use. 🙂
Yeah they do seem very good.
One thing I didn’t mention is I wish they made them in a larger size. I get a lot of vignetting when used with my 14-30mm lens. 95mm filters would fix this. But would cost more.
Lovely images in there Garry, those K&F Filters are looking very tempting at the moment (you can't make me spend any more money though !!)
Thanks…
No spending?… I must try harder 🤣
Enjoyed watching that mate, loved the images, the b&w works really well with the long exposure minimalistic shots 👍
I love the fine-art style B&W stuff. I do quite a lot of it but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, so rarely do videos about them. Thanks again for watching and taking time to comment. 👍🏻
Perfectly composed beautiful fine art seascapes. These are really my cup of tea. I have those K&F filters myself and love them. As you said literally no colour cast. I just need to convince K&F somehow to send their stuff to me too. Especially that 3-way geared head, you've been using. 😁
Thank you.
I’m sure K&F will be in touch. Your Channel is growing.. it’ll get their attention I’m sure.
Nice one Mr, we said on the meet up there earlier in the year with a high tide they would probably vanish, great to see they do 😉👍🏻
Be interesting to return at a lower tide to see what I can make of those rocks 👍🏻
Great video, love your humour, great images and review
Humour? What humour?
This is a piece of serious consumer journalism 😉
@@garrysugdenphotography 😂😂😂😂
Superb images as per normal mate, and a great vlog, but like you said, a cpl over the grad is a no brainer imho 👍👍
Yeah, that graduated filter is a strange beast. Not sure it will ever get used.
Very nice shots and what looks like a lovely day in the middle of January.
Global warming my arse ...
Yep, was in Glencoe in February and the weather was better than this 🤣
Great job mate, good review, great filters, but I've suggested to get rid of the grad and give a CPL too.
Looking at it, the website is also a bit of a mess. You can buy kits at 95mm (my preference) but not individual CPL or ND1000 at that diameter.
Strange.
It’s all a bit confusing. I’d pay more for the perfect landscape kit 🙂
Hi Garry I've seen other reviews for those filters and all seem to be positive even compared to the (in my opinion overpriced) Kase. Regarding that transport to Spurn Point I'm sure you'd have to pay for it and being a Yorkshire man I reckon you'd rather walk 😉 😂 Last time I visited that location the day after a Storm had passed through I returned to my van parked further along the prom towards Rossall to find the rear windows shattered!! The van was covered in sand so I can only assume it had been engulfed by a massive wave 😓 so I can understand the lifeguard advising you to move higher up the steps. You got some great fine art images there and at Spurn. I've not even looked mine from my trip in May 😊
Yeah, no way was I ever going to pay for a ride. I’m lazy and unfit but I’d rather keep my pennies.
I’ve see videos of the waves up around the cafe at the Shell. Amazing how much a storm surge can produce!
@@garrysugdenphotography I forgot to mention about the circular grad that is included in the K&F Magnetic Filters. I also don't understand why that filter actually exists 🤔 A grad needs to be a rectangular filter so you can compose the image then move the grad into position. I can't see that being a best seller
@@tuftyhill Yeah its a strange one. I'd rather pay more and have a CPL included. They also do kits with a UV filter - I've never met anyone who uses these!
