Its Eliza who has the time to compose her thoughts and sing, with all the precision and technique that requires. Such a cool touch.

That’s correct, you don’t want to apply too much *effort* into the musculature, as that will create tension. But you do need to *engage* muscle groups in order to achieve certain sounds, like in order to raise or lower the pitch, you need to *engage* the cricothyroid or thyroarytenoid muscles, but you don’t want to apply so much effort that your body perceives the effort as strain, that’s when problems arise ☺️💪
