My friend taught me this game. Now at lunch, me, her, and our other friend play THE MOST INTENSE game of Big 2 you will ever see in a lifetime. I'm not even kidding.
I played this all through high school. I went to China and asked to play with some friends while we were hanging out at the KTV. They laughed, silly American, let's play! When I started to win they stopped laughing 😂
In the Philippines, we called it Pusoy Dos. The same thing but the difference is the suits, the club is the lowest then spades, hearts and the highest is the diamonds.
@@shun-li8204 yea that's a rule we also I used. Just the two of spades though. We also had a fun house rule. You could play a 10 card strait called a "Dragon" - - however it's tough to get that off unless you start with it or somehow have some way to get control of the board with the 3 cards you have. One last way we played, not sure if there is actually even a rule against this, but we would negotiate. So for example if I played an Ace I could "offer" a 3 if everyone else accepted. I could also offer something less specific like a low single card or low pair. So 3-6. 6 was kinda a dick move because it's debatable if it is a mid card or low card.
Question, can a straight flush from a lower suit be played against a flush of a higher suit ? Example can a diamond straight flush beat a "2 high spades flush ? Or does the suit have prominence?

I have two Chinese friends from school. They always rekt me at this.
There’s two versions Vietnamese style and Chinese.
Royal Flush is technically a type of Straight Flush but I consider it it’s own thing and say it is the highest 5-Card hand.
Terrific game! It would be helpful to do a further video for beginners showing how specific multi card hands outrank other hands.
It is way harder than this instruction. There are many strategies and tricks to big2. It is a super intelligent game

While not an official rule, its highly frowned upon to finish with a 2. Applying this rule adds an interesting element to the game.
My friends have this rule as well, more specifically you're not allowed to win a game with the 2 of Spades, the biggest card in the game.

It's actually called a bomb 😂
We played the house rule where you play 4 of a kinds without the extra card, so I too am wondering why it's called that.
Is this chicken? ...
Meow meow
Club is the smallest tho
No, no it isn't.
You can't do four of a kind , well that's how I remember
@@redzuanhakimi6101 true the fourth card is anything
Noice pfp
You forgot the royal flush
It isn't used in big two.
JQKA2
Thomas O'Dea clearly you don't know how to play big 2
Royal flush is basically the strongest straight flush so that's why he didn't include it
Royal flush and straight flush is virtually the same in principle.
U dont have to out the three first
Edite: put*
Your first hand must include the 3 of diamonds.
Pusoy dos
