Hahaah they made the VST based off of the old OG mellotron from the 60s, this is a new digital version of that instrument, but yes same sounds as the vst

Sounds better than the vst version, but I would hate to turn it on every time I want to cook up.
It only takes about 3 seconds to load up and be ready to play once you turn on the power, probably a lot faster than a computer running VSTs? 😎👍

Sounds dope. Isn't $2000 a lot for 100 presets? That's like $20 per preset. Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't make your own presets right?
Right, unfortunately you can't make your own samples for it using the keyboard, and you can't even create samples externally on a computer and load them into the keyboard. A majority of the available sounds are really tasty though! 😎👍

i think once you run that hardware threw all them plugin effects its a waste of money..might as well just use the Analog Labs Mellotron

Inflation has drove that price through the roof. Overall it's a dope analog gear but after using it I prefer the Prophet Rev2 sonically over it.
