Everything is so easy, easy going, carefree, just be prepared for the sun and the rain!

This year bin jousting has been officially embraced by the festival lol. As far as tips this is my general festival tip but if you are planning to make festivals a regular thing invest in a good tent you can use repeatedly rather than buy a cheap tesco tent as the condensation builds up overnight and then when the sun cooks you out of the tent at 7am you burst out of it like ace ventura coming out the back of that rhino. A blackout tent was one of the best buys ive made.
Also pack as light as you can without skimping on essentials. Some folk like to glamp but you have to haul all that shit to and from the car park and by monday morning you are tired and not enthusuastic to pack it all up and lug it all back. Also get ear plugs, it often gets overlooked by newcomers but the party dont stop and unless you get blackout drunk the night is not quiet. Even the more laid back camps have a bit of partying, loud snorers and them lucky bastards who get to have loud festival sex.

My first bloodstock was last year and I fell in love with it instantly. Bought tickets for this year as soon as i got home last year. Used to be a downloader but now, even after the awful heat last year, which was a struggle beyond belief, from now on, Bloodstock will always be my main festival each year, regardless of the lineup. Was just such an amazing atmosphere. 18 days to go! I do however think were gonna have a rainy one this year though. Think its gonna be the annoying heat with rain, so sweating in our ponchos.
I went to Download this year, and although i thought it was good, it made me appreciate just how much better bloodstock is, in so many aspects.
    Great video!

I can recommend the rotisserie chicken if you really can't miss out on your Sunday lunch.
Timothy Taylor for this years real ale, landlord would be my recommendation. There was a small bar at the right hand side of the main stage next to the gallery last year that never really had a queue

Great video, i am nervous for festivals because im worried about people acting like dicks because 'theyre at a festival' which is a common thing at DL in my experience but everyone says BS is so friendly so fingers crossed lol

Im in the same boat as the dude in the video, been going since 2017 and i havent seen a single fight, cross word, weird altercation or negativity the entire time. If someone falls or passes out they're immediately helped up. Last year during the Saturday headliners there were people passing out everywhere due to the heat and the crowd were using their phones to guide the medics, very cool atmos. Enjoy and dont be worried!

Watching this cus I'm going to see Meshuggah. Thanks for the tips, man!
Edit: Forgot to ask, if we have the pdf of the tickets, do we just show it to the people at the festival and they will give us our entrance wristbands?

Yes, you will show your ticket immediately after you're checked by security. You will then get your wristband.
