I demoed this board, a Mind Expander 158 and 162, Storm Chaser and my old Custom. The Japo was the winner with the best float and the best off and-on-piste moves. We did 6 total days, and when I go back this will be the one I pull out of the quiver. Now I got to go find one here in the states

They just restocked their offering a couple weeks ago. Maybe email them and see?

Got to try this board out today. Charging in pow & swiveling in trees was the name of the game.

I’m going to Japow and bought this in a 164. I thought it would be long for my size, 5’7” and 185 but Weston said that’s the right length if I bring it to Japan

Thoughts on Japow compared to Moss Snowstick SW62? When (what terrain/riding style) would you choose one over the other? Also would you recommend SW for 160lbs/10.5US or would SW58 be better? Thanks!

    Should a 5'10" 250lb rider with 10us boot go with the 160?

Hey AS, any major differences between the Japow and Korua Dart? I’m sure both excel in powder, so mostly on the groomer front I suppose.

Oh god yes. Go watch the review of either and you'll learn.

Japow or Hovercraft? Have a Niche Maelstrom as my other board.

Hovercraft will be too similar to the Maelstrom, I'd go with the Japow. Adds some versatility.

Any real difference except the long swallowtail between a Sushi, Nitro POW and this one?

OH YEAH! Torsional flex, sidecut, float, exit out of turns, etc. etc. The Pow and Sushi would be closer to each other but still different enough and this is on a whole other plane of existence.

208lbs, size 9.5 foot, 5'7"...what size for the Japow? Can I go with a 154? Ride A Basin & Loveland and the passes. Thx

You can, it won't be the most optimal, but it's doable.

@@AngrySnowboarder so I should prob stick with the 159 then? or do you think I should go larger than that? Appreciate the advice, thank you!

      59 should be totally fine.
