I listened to a podcast the other day about “General Offence 8” (I think??) which relates to flying a drone close to an emergency incident. The guy from the police did not set a limit to the radius it affects. This was a new one on me, so wondered if you had heard of it?
@@PJAudits the impression he gave was that even if they had not established a now fly zone, you could be in contravention of this. He basically said if police / fire / ambulance are near by, don’t fly. I was concerned that you could be in contravention of this, without even knowing an ‘incident’ was ongoing.
@@PeteCattell common sense and risk assessment come into play in situation. PJ would not have crossed that train line witch was a good distance to not impede on any work being done by fire services. In fact I doubt they would have seen it from the distance he is away and the smoke. This is just my opinion as a drone operator with a few years under my belt. Hope this helps.
There was another drone in the air at the same time as yours, just seen another channel " Raymond Clough" where he is potentially very close to your drone! but neither of you new of each others presence lol.
@@georgebarnes8163 The firefighters will be working on it, but those types of fires are a nightmare. Something similar happened in Bradford in 2020, and took a week to fully extinguish.
and this is why our lovely planet is getting fucked over, makes me feel sick destroying earth, we only get 1 earth :( (edit, only noticed now it is an accident, thought they were just burning there old tyres)
Some amazing footage yet again, Sir 👍🏻.

Such a terrible disaster!! But it looks so beautiful, unfortunately, can't take my eyes off it! Beauty and the beast.
Great pictures thanks pete how long did it burn for cheers bob.🍾🍺🚒🚒🚓🚓🤠😎
It's still burning
Brilliant Pete
Looks like you have the drone in FPV mode. Change it to FOLLOW mode for smoother footage especially when turning.

Yeah, but I did check to see if there was a temporary flying ban, but there wasn't

Brilliant footage looks like an erupting volcano
Jesus Christ that’s bad. I feel for the staff working there at the time.
Burgers are ready Maureen 😋
Is that the way to save our planet?
Oh man, this poor planet!
Excellent footage PJ, much better than looking at warehouse and factory roofs.
Five in morning it's still smoking man....
It might be burning for a long time depending how many tires are there. One tire fire in Canada burned for 17 days.
Wow, this is not going to be a Goodyear for this company
These jokes are tyresome
@@tacticalnuclearpotato true I'm feeling awfully deflated by them

Brittany was the fire Commender in charge
We're seeing it all over Lincolnshire now black toxic fire dust all over cars!!! 🤧🤧🤧
great way to get rid of waste tyres
So what did Fire 🔥 Brigade do to put it out.
nothing, they just stopped it from spreading, it burnt itself out.

Can still see a bit of smoke today
Am subscriber aswel lad
So much black smoke
Omg we have too many used tyres and we dont know what to do with them...........hang on i got an idea
Great footage though
More pollution , tyres should have to be responsibly recycled at end of use on the road.
It was a tyre recycling plant.
You can rely on Firestone Tyres !!!!
..and there's all these prats worried about washing their baked beans tins out thinking that they are 'saving the planet'.....
-_-
Yea! Why bother eh? Silly sods trying to do their bit while other pillocks think it's all a waste of time!!

@@neilfoster814 we will be gone yes, but our kids? And there kids? I’m not so sure o.O
I find it crazy that they will just let a tyre fire burn. Yet we have climate protesters and 'them' moaning that 'we' are producing far too much Co2 🤣
