Christopher Henry Gayle, no amount of praise would do justice to this man. "A pirate with his bandana on, pillaging and plundering runs from the opposition", as Harsha put it, seems quite accurate. Amidst his star-studded achievements the one which, I think, he would be most proud of is that he has entertained the crowds, across every stadium in every nation, through and through. And no matter where he plays, the crowd roars when Chris comes up on the field.
That conclusion at the end is a masterpiece. Damn Harsha Sir.

The conflicts with the Windies Cricket Board finished his Test Career bit too soon. A really underrated player who is seen just as a destroyer in White Ball Cricket. He is an amazing Test Players and has played some really gritty innings for his team. West Indies could have been a much stronger side had the Board maintained a healthy relationship with all the key players.
man this guy has 2 triple centuries in test, 1 double century in ODI and 3 hundreds in T20.

Gayle is often confused as a T20 batsman , but people should not forget he has played over 100 Tests with 2 Triple centuries as well. One of the greats of WI cricket. 👏✌️

there might be few other player to match his strike rates his avg but Chris Gayle is Chris Gayle..no one can match his aura..the love he gets all around the world..his personality.. his impact on bowlers mind..once in a life time kind of player! CHAMPION🏆
It would have been a far better series, if there had been more about cricket less about castrol. sometimes it become irritating to find that you prepare your monologue just to fit the castrol. This whole "protected his team much like castrol active" is very irritating to be heard in each and every video. For all the annoyance, I have decided that I will never use Castrol Active in my bike. Rather I wud use some other brand.

But he has done much for PAK. He was the Man of the Tournament in T20 WC 2007, helped them to victory in 2009 T20 WC (He was the 2nd highest run-scorer and wicket-taker for PAK). He was also the joint highest wicket taker in 2011 WC and captained the team well there. He also held the record of fastest 100 in ODIs for quite a long time.
His achievements for PAK will always be remembered by cricket fans.
But yeah, like all Pakistani greats, he stumbled against India on the big stage.

Edit :- If this was done 2 years earlier, we would have won that epic t20 vs WI where KL scored 110 and we almost chased 244 and lord dhobi pooped by failing to score 8 off 6. We might have chased 200 vs NZ until dhobi decided to finish it for the opposition. He was 27 off 28 at one stage while chasing 200 in a t20.
