I loved watching this show. Thank you for posting this show. The picture and audio are very good 👍! I remember watching the "Lawrence Welk Show" on Saturday nights in the 1970s. It was a fun show to watch!!
Such a great show featuring so much of the Welk talent. This was during the bicentennial as I recall. I was singing some of these songs in high school performances. Tom Netherton does Paper Roses in this episode and that inspired me to tackle it before a crowd of young folks...they got a kick out of it and really liked it because lots of folks saw the song as a girl's song...I loved singing it and even wore a blazer and turtleneck for the performance like Tom sported except my blazer was camel tan and my turtleneck sweater sky blue with navy slacks. ...My family and I always enjoyed The Lawrence Welk Show every week. Thank you for posting this enjoyable episode.

I still watch the Lawerance Welk show every Sunday night from 6:00 🕕 pm to 7:00 🕖 Pm because I like the music 🎶 that I also like .My favorite kind of music 🎶 that I like is country western music. I also like when Bobby virgins and Cissy King 👑 Dance 💃 on the Lawence Welk show because they are really good dancers 💃 and they both know how to dance 💃. Yours truly, Leah Karlsen

I suppose that Ken's song by title--as fun as it is to hear him do--pre-empted (the inclusion of) Tip-toe Through the Tulips_ for this episode; unless, it was just edited-out because of time. It is always fun seeing Jack & Mary Lou dance to that, as they had in past shows.
I just loved the young and old folks dancing sweetly as Henry Cuesta and the band play their sweet music.
Norma Zimmer had such a sweet, beautiful, and powerful voice when she sang Gospel songs 🎵!! I loved watching her sing those songs!!
Mr. Welk and his champagne music makers just blossomed in this show! Thank you for posting it.

Anacani singing Amapola 😍
I am beginning to suspect that you like Anacani quite a bit.
Finally got to see the trio sing Rose garden. Other versions have video damage in it making it not good until now
