I’m genuinely convinced not acting your age keeps you alive longer. My dad is older (in his early 70s)had me later in life (he’s a decade older than my mom my sister was an only child for 8 years the I cane along when he was in his almost 50years old) He for real looks and acts like he’s still in his 40s, people in their 50s/60s consistently think he’s younger than them and I love his verve and passion he has for life. He loves technology and his new found interest is now VR. He was playing with my VR this weekend at a small family cookout, and he quickly fell in love with it, it was like watching a teenager, he picked up on it so fast and was overjoyed the whole time.

More people need to talk up the importance of practicing, I'm so pleased you mentioned it.
Jackie, what u said at 8:45 really hit me. At home and at school I do everything I can to prove to my parents that I'm the daughter the think I am. When I get anything wrong, I'm also extremely hard on myself. And I will be even more hard on myself now that I'm gonna be a freshman in high school (wish me luck) I haven't really heard anyone say "You need to prove nothing to anyone but yourself", and hearing that from one of my favorite RUclipsrs makes me believe that I can make mistakes and still do good in life. I dont know if it makes any sense, but hearing you tall about it gives me a lot of hope for the future. We “made papyrus” in middle school when we were learning about ancient Egypt and it was so much fun. It obviously was like dumbed down easy mode version of paper making for kids but it was a blast! You should definitely try it Jackie :)
Omg we made paper too! And we actually did it during our Ancient Egypt section of the curriculum to introduce us to “how papyrus was made” (it definitely wasn’t how it was made but it was such a fun activity and solidified my love of ancient egyptian culture and history)
I got into soaping when i was in college. My friend and i would go to AC Moores (not around anymore) and get glycerin soap kits and beads to make keychains. Glycerin soaps got me interested in making cold process soaps, now i do both and tried candle making too

Started with an interest in nail art, and from there to UV gels, to resin, then to clays. I'm also into the miniature house and room kits. I've become a craft maniac. I had a friend that was into finger knitting, and one day, she taught me how. She showed me how to finger knit a thin scarf~ But... she didn't teach me... how to stop. I didn't know how to finish the scarf, so I... kept going... until the entire skein of yarn was used up. I now have an extremely long, thin scarf that takes waaaay too long to bundle around myself XD After that, though, I decided I wanted to learn crochet, and I bought up a bunch of tools and yarn, but I never gave myself time to get into it. I'm big into gaming, and that hobby takes up just about all of my free time X3

Back to crafting, I do all sorts, I’ve always tinkered with crafts, from being quite young. After my first husband died I took up painting, and 19 years later I’m still throwing paint around. I also make jewellery as well!
Hi Jackie - Since you asked, my Mom started me crafting when I was about 2-ish yr.old. Coloring, of course. There were these crafting kits for "stitching". There were like 4-8 large picture cards with holes punched all around the peritimer. Then there were a bunch of lengths of yarn; the ends of which were like shoelaces. Edging the card with yarn "stitching". Then there were Colorforms. The themed box had a background on a big card. The card had like a plastic/vinyl/waxy finish. Then there were some sheets of what looked like stickers. But they were vinyl. So glue & tape were not needed because static electricity did the attaching. ie: Batman and Robin theme. The background would be the Batcave with just a few shapes and lines drawn, & perhaps some kind of outlines. The goal was to position the vinyl: Batman and Robin, Batcar, Batcomputer, Batphone, the searchlight w/the bat on a cloud, the Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Commissioner Gordon, Alfred, Aunt Harriet...& a whole lot of other props that were Bat-inspired. Then I could make up my own scenes & stories & such. Very ASMR. Entertainment value: priceless. So how about that? I love my artesian crafting. And most recently my husband ordered "Not Another Crap Kit" for my Christmas/Birthday gift. December 28. I took a ceramics class in college where I learned how to throw clay. But I have never done epoxy, et al like your kit. I am willing to become a "Crap Kit" learner. Very beginner. It is because I watched & studied you & the other RUclipsrs use your kit. btw, when is Jazzas video being available? Believe me, Jackie, you make a huge difference for me, as well. I have never entertained the idea of doing any kinds of craft because I don’t consider myself very creative. So after I retired from teaching I started diamond painting which takes no creativity but is relaxing and enjoyable. Then I ran across some RUclips tutorials making polymer clay canes and beads. LOVE THAT SO MUCH. Now I’m working on beaded cross stitch. Lock down and retirement have actually been fun for me.
You can do a shadow picture/card without a machine. You can get sheets of pictures that are printed with a 3D scene which is cut out and you use glue pads to put height/depth into a picture.
I started crafting in high school. I did jewelry first then making cards and now I dabble in several genres but my main thing now is making environments in old tea cups.
I've just started embroidery. Having fun with it but it's so concentrating that I've only made about 2 designs until now. I absolutely love watching and engaging in arts and crafts. But my skills are really bad so I gave them up altogether because I thought I couldn't improve. Totally forgot I have fun doing them. I got into crafting when I was in therapy. There was a nicer old lady who showed me crafting with clay (normal clay) and how you can make cups and figures and such. I loved it and it helped me quite a lot to relax. After my therapy I didn't get into it until I saw your videos, a long time ago, and thought to myself "That.. looks awesome. Can I do it too?" and yeah.. I tried it out. And now I make small figures, keychains out of polymer clay and of course resin stuff. So thank you Jackie for re-ignite my love for crafting
I got into crafts as a very tiny human. I had undiagnosed autism and mental health issues and I needed something to concentrate on and feel accomplished in doing as I wasn’t finding that in ‘real life’. Now it is how I deal with everyday.

I can't really pinpoint any specific time that I got into crafting, school and home life exposed me to all sorts of crafting like sewing paper crafts and sculpting. One of my favorite memories, in fact, was making a "computer" out of cardboard boxes and crayons. I can't remember how old I was but I was young. M6 mother taught me to sew, my grandmother taught me to crochet, and my art teachers taught me sculpting painting and paper making to name a few. I'm recently trying my hand at resin, though, thanks to you and other fun RUclips channels!

While I was started crafting when I was young I gave up often as I wasn't "naturally good" at it. I started getting back into arts and crafting recently in major part due to creators like you. I've seen how you progressed and realized that even as an adult I can still learn and actually get decent at art if I worked at it. So thank you for reigniting that passion in me :)

I have crocheted since I was a kid. In my 40s, I did a little sewing for my girls, but not until I hit my 60s did I really get going on crafts. Started with an interest in nail art, and from there to UV gels, to resin, then to clays. I'm also into the miniature house and room kits. I've become a craft maniac. I look forward to all your videos, and love Pat, because he loves you. The sarcasm is just a nice bonus!

I had a friend that was into finger knitting, and one day, she taught me how. She showed me how to finger knit a thin scarf~ But... she didn't teach me... how to stop. I didn't know how to finish the scarf, so I... kept going... until the entire skein of yarn was used up. I now have an extremely long, thin scarf that takes waaaay too long to bundle around myself XD After that, though, I decided I wanted to learn crochet, and I bought up a bunch of tools and yarn, but I never gave myself time to get into it. I'm big into gaming, and that hobby takes up just about all of my free time X3

I ve been crafting since i have had memories. Same thing with my now 6 year old daughter. Growing up I have dabbled in sculpting, sewing, carpentry, set building for performances, pretty much everything!
I have a huge crush on tuxedo max when I was younger 😅, also still a huge fan of sailor moon and tons of others .
I got into crafting at an early age with painting. In grade school, I painted a deer on a wood plate for a school project and I was so proud of how it turned out. Then I sculpted my dog in raw clay that I dug up when I was camping. I still love painting, especially the Halloween plaster haunted houses from Michaels. I also like paper crafting, knitting, loom knitting, machine knitting and crochet. I’ve tried so many hobbies and I love picking up new ones.

Back to crafting, I do all sorts, I’ve always tinkered with crafts, from being quite young. After my first husband died I took up painting, and 19 years later I’m still throwing paint around. I also make jewellery as well!

Hi Jackie - Since you asked, my Mom started me crafting when I was about 2-ish yr.old. Coloring, of course. There were these crafting kits for "stitching". There were like 4-8 large picture cards with holes punched all around the peritimer. Then there were a bunch of lengths of yarn; the ends of which were like shoelaces. Edging the card with yarn "stitching". Then there were Colorforms. The themed box had a background on a big card. The card had like a plastic/vinyl/waxy finish. Then there were some sheets of what looked like stickers. But they were vinyl. So glue & tape were not needed because static electricity did the attaching. ie: Batman and Robin theme. The background would be the Batcave with just a few shapes and lines drawn, & perhaps some kind of outlines. The goal was to position the vinyl: Batman and Robin, Batcar, Batcomputer, Batphone, the searchlight w/the bat on a cloud, the Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Commissioner Gordon, Alfred, Aunt Harriet...& a whole lot of other props that were Bat-inspired. Then I could make up my own scenes & stories & such. Very ASMR. Entertainment value: priceless. So how about that? I love my artesian crafting. And most recently my husband ordered "Not Another Crap Kit" for my Christmas/Birthday gift. December 28. I took a ceramics class in college where I learned how to throw clay. But I have never done epoxy, et al like your kit. I am willing to become a "Crap Kit" learner. Very beginner. It is because I watched & studied you & the other RUclipsrs use your kit. btw, when is Jazzas video being available? Believe me, Jackie, you make a huge difference for me, as well. I have never entertained the idea of doing any kinds of craft because I don’t consider myself very creative. So after I retired from teaching I started diamond painting which takes no creativity but is relaxing and enjoyable. Then I ran across some RUclips tutorials making polymer clay canes and beads. LOVE THAT SO MUCH. Now I’m working on beaded cross stitch. Lock down and retirement have actually been fun for me.

You can do a shadow picture/card without a machine. You can get sheets of pictures that are printed with a 3D scene which is cut out and you use glue pads to put height/depth into a picture.

I've just started embroidery. Having fun with it but it's so concentrating that I've only made about 2 designs until now. I absolutely love watching and engaging in arts and crafts. But my skills are really bad so I gave them up altogether because I thought I couldn't improve. Totally forgot I have fun doing them. I got into crafting when I was in therapy. There was a nicer old lady who showed me crafting with clay (normal clay) and how you can make cups and figures and such. I loved it and it helped me quite a lot to relax. After my therapy I didn't get into it until I saw your videos, a long time ago, and thought to myself "That.. looks awesome. Can I do it too?" and yeah.. I tried it out. And now I make small figures, keychains out of polymer clay and of course resin stuff. So thank you Jackie for re-ignite my love for crafting

I can't really pinpoint any specific time that I got into crafting, school and home life exposed me to all sorts of crafting like sewing paper crafts and sculpting. One of my favorite memories, in fact, was making a "computer" out of cardboard boxes and crayons. I can't remember how old I was but I was young. M6 mother taught me to sew, my grandmother taught me to crochet, and my art teachers taught me sculpting painting and paper making to name a few. I'm recently trying my hand at resin, though, thanks to you and other fun RUclips channels!
