Hi Liz, all signed up for your course!! Cant wait to start. My favorite today was the tree in the basket, it is so easy and fast. I bought a whole bunch of dollar tree white trees last year so I think I will do this project in white.
Hey Liz, I have watched many of your tutorials over time and usually there may only be one item per episode that I love. However, today's DIYs blew me away. Love them all. Too hard to pick just one. You have a vision that can't be beat. I would just look at those white fluffy chamoises and walk away. No ideas would pop up for me. So glad that I found you and your beautiful home. Good luck to you in your next adventure. Thanks so much for sharing.
I seriously don't have a favorite, however if I had to choose just one, I think it would be the bowl with epsom salts for snow with the trees. You have a great imagination for coming up with things that could be very expensive and make them look just as good for just a few dollars!!!! A-mazing!!!
I've already told you that trees are my favorite Christmas decorations, and you keep giving me great ideas! You're so good at what you do, I work at school and I just know your teacher friends are eating it up! Thanks for the ideas!
Loved all of these, but the poster board trees were my favorite! I love making trees and grouping them together. I use the cone shaped party hats from Dollar Tree to make Christmas trees, just cover with whatever you have in mind to match your decor. Thanks for all the inspiration and diys!
HI Liz! Instead of wrapping the extra pine boughs around the mini-trees to fill them out, have you tried taking two of them, opening them to one side only (so they have a flat back, like a half-tree) and then attaching the two half trees together, flat side to flat side, to create a much fuller tree? Works a treat!
What a lovely group of projects, Liz!. I really like the tree in the basket, the adorable beads with tassel and the fluffy white trees. I think the fluffy trees would look cute too if a silver star was inserted into the top of the tree. Great idea using black paint to distress the look of the "Merry" and calendar sign. Really enjoy the simplicity of your projects that give that elegant look. ❤🎄🦌🎄❤
Hi Liz ! Just wanted to say that, while distressing is not my personal style, you do it the best of all the diy yt's I have seen (which is quite a few). TFS !!
I just love all the different and beautiful ways we can use those DT candle stick and votive holders, they are like a staple for any craft/diy room, they can be used in so, so many ways.
Hi, Liz: I was thrifting a l-o-n-g time ago before dollar stores. It’s nice to know there is a place to shop now where the only limit is your imagination!
I love the idea of using a stocking cap on the pot for your tree. My husband has a certain football team that he loves. I think I'm going to try to get a stocking cap from the team and I'm going to paint a white Christmas tree that I found at a garage sale team colors. It will look awesome with the team stocking cap at the base. thank you for that idea.
i love all your projects-they are simple yet look high end! and i love that your descriptions are short and sweet without a lot of explaining and extra unnecessary talking. u are my new favorite diy-er! 🥰
Hi Liz, I gotta say my favorites were also the white trees in the beginning and the little miniatures in the glass bowl and for an added feature I would’ve added little miniature people and put them in there as well to make it look like a scene from outside. ❄️🌲🛷 TIP: For putting small items in place use or buy metal type chopsticks that chefs use to plate fine food items; I just use my husband’s, LOL 👻
I love the glass bowl with trees inside and the farm fresh Christmas tree sign are equally my two favorites. The glass bowl with trees can be kept up for the entire winter season.
Congratulations on your new adventure!!! Love all these projects. I am enthralled with the trees in the globe tho. I've looked everywhere and cannot find that calendar...bummer!
I love the use of the beanie cap to make a potted plant with the Christmas tree. I also love the bowl with the white and green trees using Epsom salt. What a great idea! Thanks for all your great ideas Liz!!!
I liked the beads the best. I have struggled with painting them and your way is the easiest I never thought of. Thank you for you inspirations and sharing ides with us.
I enjoyed watching all of your DIY projects. You did today on your channel. But I am going to say that out of the ones you did on your channel today my two favorites was the bowl and the trees and salt. My next choice was that candles with the little bowl glued on top with a candle inside the bowl. That one was just amazing. Thank you!!
I was unable to find the Farmers Market calendar in my area although I ran to every DT in my area when they came out someone grabbed all of them from each store!
I agree! also you never know what you are going to find in a thrift store. I honestly don't have the time (or patience) to browse. I want to know a place has what I need before I even leave my house 🤣
I used the dusters a couple years ago to DIY a white fur wreath I saw that was way too expensive but so beautiful. It came out great! Unconventional materials can have amazing results with a little creativity and an open mind.
Love your videos, Liz! I just finished fall DIY's so today I'll be off to my local Dollar Tree stores today to find some Christmas DIY supplies!! I can't pick just one, love them all!! Happy DIYing!
Liz I love every single one of these craft ideas. The way how you explained it make s it so inviting to try to do it. Thank you for sharing with us your talent and gifts of inspiration.
Your miniature tree globe using epson salt is my favorite! It captures not only the true beauty of a winter's white forest, but the spirit of the Christmas tree.🌲
Just found your channel last night. Love it! I've binged watched it last night and tonight! Signed up for your class, can't wait to watch! You make every project look so easy yet so expensive. Thanks for helping a person such as myself that has ZERO creativity.
Liz great ideas and so simple and easy. I plan on putting a few of those ideas together for Christmas. My favorite was the beads and the bowl of trees. Thank you
Again, beautiful and creative ideas. Love xmas tree using hat, candle holders, the beads, and those trees in glass jars and bowls using Epson salt. I have to get shopping now, well in the morning, it's 12:30 am now!
I love your ideas. Sadly I live in Mexico where we have no Dollar Tree stores or thrift shops but occasionally I run across an American living here that is having a garage sale so I look for ideas that I could make from your videos. I love the videos.
I love all your Christmas decorations. I can't make up my mind which ornaments liked the best. I do like the Christmas trees in the glass jar, but everyone of your ornaments are the best. You truly are very talented with your creativity of Christmas ornaments. Excellent video! 👍🤗🍁🇨🇦
Loved the tree in the hat wrapped basket, simple but perfect. Also the repurposed candlesticks with the smokey votives looked very high end! Would look awesome all through fall and winter.
Hi Liz! I love the way you decorated all of the projects, but my favorite is the candle jars with the epson salt added in with the miniature tress, I also liked the way you did the D T Christmas trees with the basket, hat and the pine cones. Your diy’s are such a cheery, festive, glowing warming feeling to the soul, thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day!
@@lizfenwickdiy Yes maam, cute isn't even the word, and they're just a fraction of the cost you'd find them in stores!🎄 I'm always tuned in...thanks for your creative energy and sharing it with all of us!!!
Liz, instead of buying brown wrapping paper, I get free brown bags at the grocery store and cut them open and flat and use the inside to wrap whatever. It saves a little money. With a red or colorful ribbon, the brown paper works on packages for any holiday. I also use the comic section of the newspaper to wrap presents. Kids especially get a kick out of the comics.
I love the 2 large size white trees. I had a set made with white feathers they were so full of dust, spider webs, and bugs caught in the webs I had to ditch them! It was sad because I had them in my window over the front door and I couldn’t find anything to replace them! Your video showed me how I could replace them and do it myself! ( The previous trees were done on plastic rolled and shaped exactly how you did it so I think it will work just fine! Thank-you!
I like the calendar page on the piece of wood. I didn't purchase the Farm calendar, but I did get the one that says "Simply Blessed" on the front from the $ store. It has beautiful pictures in it for every holiday!
Hi Liz, all signed up for your course!! Cant wait to start.
