Few months back I started a new Series about Head To Toe - Grooming & Dressing Tips for Interview for Women. I covered all aspects of dressing up for an interview in Western formals and in this video I am talking about wearing Indian attire or Indian Salwar suit/ salwar kameez for Interviews. There will be .. general and colonels of army...please give suggestion.how to wear sare in 4-5 min ...and in an elegant way... Simple and beautiful walk..in sare..☺️that's what I needed at all❤️or mam sandal toh allowed nhi hota..sare ke neche phir pehne kya...jyada sound me nhi ane chahiye chlne me..that's a discipline of army..

ma'am i have a closed neck grey kurta with a touch of blue..along which white chudidar leggings and cotton dupatta..kurta has embroidery on upper half of left side with grey color..i have plain flat jootis of the color of my kurta..will it look good??
Its fine as long as embroidery is subtle and not shiny...jootis is not recommended for Interviews

All are fine ..whichever you are comfortable in..
I personally feel braid doesn't look too smart. Thats my opinion and not a rule

1. You can skip dupatta
2. If you want to wear dupatta make sure it is not a bulky or thick one..you should go for light weight dupatta that can be just wrapped through neck
3. You can replace dupatta with a woolen scarf or stole that will protect you from cold and will also look v smart

Black Closed Toe footwear will look more professional and will enhance your body language. However, ballerina is also ok if you are not confident or can't confidently walk in heels. All the best

Hi, Coats & Blazers look more formal. However, you can still wear cardigans or sweaters that are plain/solid color with no design, chain, shimmer, sequins, or any form of embroidery

I'm totally confused what to wear .. these types of Kurtis are not available here in our markets .. I can't even order online or ask a tailor to sew it now... I have a formal set .. will that do?? Hi Shilpa, just a plain kurta with matching trouser/ churidaar is available everywhere. If you don't want to buy you can wear saree for Asst Registrar position ( only if you are comfortable in wearing saree).. What do you mean by formal set? Do you mean a business suit( formal trouser with blazer?) If yes, then you may wear business suit..All the best 👍

Mam I'm going for an IT company interview. Which outfits suits better formals (women's casual shirt and formal pants) or kurti (sidecut kurti with legging)
First of all, it's not about which is better amongst Western or Indian Formals. You need to decide whether you want to be in Western formals or Indian. Both are fine in general. Kurti (is short) so go for kurta ( calf length) with legging if you want to go for Indian.

Complete white look is fine just keep these points in mind
1. White is high maintenance color so be very watchful of where you sit & stand before you enter interview room as it may get dirty
2. The white kurta should not be transparent
3. Don't go for white footwear.. Wear any neutral, nude, pastel footwear

Bandhani is generally bright. It's better if it can be avoided. If no other option then make make be pastel Color in Bandhani with no embroidery

Hi Sanjana, generally we should avoid any kind of embroidery for interview. However, if it is v subtle, color on color and non shiny & Shimmery embroidery then you may consider. But if you can avoid embroidered suit then avoid, if can't then follow the above mentioned rules
