I'm so excited to learn this process. By the way, I made a palm thimble like yours, well not as nice, but I love how well it fits and protects my hand. It's helping me make even stitches. 😻 Thank you for your lessons. 💖
Thank you for sharing these tutorials! I just visited Tokyo for the first time and there was a hobby shop near my hotel selling Sashiko and Sashiko supplies and I fell in love! Why do these particular towels have two open sides? Is there a reason you don’t sew all 4 sides closed? Thank you!
How lucky! And good question! Traditionally, the fabric used for hanafukin has two selvedge sides, so you don't need to sew them closed. I also feel leaving two sides open is easier to sew and can avoid fabric bunching. :)
Благодарю тебя,милая мастерица,за чудесные уроки в новом для меня рукоделии! Оно волшебно! Очень -очень-очень прошу писать титры и на русском языке,чтобы можно было легче усвоить урок! 🙏❤️
I came across with your videos and they are awesome, you are a great teacher. When will we get the second part of this video? Regards from Spain. Eilyn

Can an alternative cloth/fabric be used? Flour sack cloth?
Of course! Actually, what a brilliant idea!
Sugar sack...
I ❤ the absorbency of flour sacks. Don't you wish they came in old fashioned tradition of prints?
