So much to love in this episode! 1) the castle and cathedral are breathtaking. Germany truly is the land of amazing castles. Neuschwanstein is my favorite place. 2) so much cheekiness!! A) You and your faces between the feet. Omg. I died! B) Michele and wild chard! Amazing. C) Cheeky friends kicking you out of the castle. Haha! D) Cheeky beer. That facial expression=priceless. E) cheeky friends recording on your camera. Beyond hilarious and amazing. My favorite film so far!! Cheers from Hurricane Alley in Hawaii, Mae x

Very beautiful, interesting and helpful. I will be taking a cruise next September visiting the Baltic Countries. Warnemunde will be my first port. I have been trying to decide on a port excursion and I think it is going to be Schwerin and the castle. Your video helped me decide to take this excursion.
The reason why Schwerin looks better than Rostock is not the size. Rostock is double as big as Schwerin. Schwerin looks better because it hasn`t been destroyed in WWII, so you will find mainly the 16.-19th century architecture intact. This is very unusual for Germany as most towns were bombed in WWII.
+Meyer Meyer good info. Thank you. I know exactly what you talking about cause the same thing happened in Poland. However Warsaw's old town even though it was basically gone, after the war it was rebuild to the original state. Greedy people only think on making money on war and not thinking about lives they sacrificed or cities that destroyed... but this is a different subject for another day 😉
@@INSTACRUISING Anyone interested in history, architecture and culture should not follow the mainstream in Germany and only visit the big cities. The real treasures are often hidden in smaller cities. The big cities usually look like everywhere else except a few highlights. The Poles did a little better after the war and rebuilt the destroyed towns original. In Germany, after the war in large cities much destroyed has been replaced by modern buildings. That's why my secret tip to visit the smaller cities. Schwerin is a good example, but also Görlitz, Quedlinburg, Tangermünde, Goslar, Lüneburg, Bacherach, Rüdesheim, Rothenburg, Bamberg, Meersburg, Schmalkalden, Schleswig, Marburg, Stralsund and 1200 more.
you have discovered the treasures of the Trinity. Super fun video. stunning nature
