Growing up in LA, my mom was a high end realtor. At any given time, she had at least five 8 figure listings. I hosted parties in her mansion listings during college until she busted me. My guess is that he greased an agent a grand or so to film there for an hour. A mortgage on that house would be 600-700K per month so no self-respecting real estate agent would accept less than that to rent the place and they would never give him a long term rental commitment unless the property had been for sale without decent offers for awhile.
