Man...these Long Live The Loud albums by Powergod are probably the greatest tribute to the true underdogs of 80's metal whose power of influence was (and still is) immeasurable but unfortunately overlooked. As such the 1984 original by Omen was in my opinion a milestone in US power metal but this makeover really stays true to the original while powering it up with a more contemporary metal sound. This is as metal as it gets!
FUCKING AWESOME!!!! Man, he sounds just like J.D. Kimball on this!! I took lessons from the same vocal instructor that J.D. did (Elizabeth Sabine, she also taught Michael Sweet from Stryper, and Ron Keel among others) and J.D. has been one of my heroes since way back then.
