Whoa, a lot of things happened during this song, I wouldn't expect a thrash metal band to have so many progressive elements and also power metal elements, also they were blended in such an amazing way, thank you for the recommendation, Chris! Развлечения
as a musician this is for me the highest technical lvl I ever listened on heavy metal
I think this can be compared with the same technical level as the band Death, or some prog stuff, but if we are talking about just Thrash Metal, I think this is at the same level as Coroner
Listen to necrophagist then
There are more technical bands, but for thrash this is absolutely top tier. I think where they shine are the riffs and melodies though
You listened to it with an open mind, even though you're not the biggest thrash fan. But you recognized and appreciated the genius in this song. Personally, I can't hear this song without becoming emotional. An effect that no other thrash song has on me. Except for 'Charging the Void'... David DiSanto deserves the Nobel Prize for arts for this album alone.
Tetrastructural Minds is the first song i heard by VEKTOR. The intro blew my mind. Been deeply in love with this band for a couple years now. This song is the epic conclusion to a 70+ min sifi space space Odyssey. Pulling concepts and musical ideas from the whole album. The lead also plays gutair( nuts right ). He also wrote the whole thing himself really.
Whoa it seems like it's some kind of concept album, right?
@@Temporal72 yes its 1hr 13min and 24second of space Odyssey
Tetrastructural minds is definitely one of my favorite Vektor songs.
@@Temporal72 The entirety of Outer Isolation album is my favorite album. Its a space voyage in itself.. Tetrastructural Minds and Echoless Chamber are my top 2 favs, but the entire album is a masterpiece.
Tetrastructural minds was my first intro to Vektor as well. It showed up in my spotify weekly in about 2016, absolutely loved the band ever since.
Nice reaction, it's obvious you get the music. One thing that make this album more impressive is that the music supports the narrative that runs through the whole album, the different section aren't pointless but reflect the protagonist emotional journey. It's one of the rare album that really benefits from start to finish listen with the lyrics.
Also I find that they are very good at mixing light and dark here, the music as an epic energy to it, some warm uplifting parts (specially on this track) but that's layered in a constant background of sadness. It's like a joyful, energizing depression.
"Energizing depression" feels perfect to describe that music! I have to hear the whole album, I'm glad you liked the video!
Really shocking that Vektor is not considered as one of the biggest metal bands ever.
Yeaaah to be honest I hadn't heard their name before I listened to this song
Might be due to David beating his girlfriend? They lost a Century Media deal last winter because of that as well.
@@MaYstruction Anecdotally, only half that story came out. Anyone who knows them seems to think that she was a far bigger part of the problem than he was.
@@leerobbo92 Century Media does not
@@MaYstruction Meh, the company got a massive backlash on social media. I'd make the same decision on that basis.
Anecdotes aren't going to influence a business, but if they're true, hopefully it comes out at some point.
Forests of Legend/ LCD(liquid Crystal Disease)/ dark nebula/ charging the void/ oblivion/ black future/ collapse.
yes do all of those lol
Lol yes but Acceleration Universe
@@GoldChargerE1 oh YEAH
Priceless reaction, mate. I saw me in you, when I first heard this masterpiece. Thank you.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the reaction!
@@Temporal72 the pleasure is mine, mate, thanks again.
Great reaction, this track is even better when you listen to the previous tracks on the album, especially the opening track Charging The Void, there's great recapitulation
Damn this song was a journey!
Yeaaah, I was not expecting that!
Charging The Void is this song's cousin and it's possibly even better.
Is that one on the same album?
@@Temporal72 yes, charging is the opening track and recharging is the closing track.
several of the riffs in this song are callbacks to riffs from charging and a few other tracks on the album.
Terminal Redux is possibly the best concept album I’ve ever heard
@@calebhowell7008 I agree. I'm always interested in the lyrics but with TR I had first to grasp the music, it's such a powerful statement. Then I got really into the lyrics and I discovered a whole new dimension to this masterpiece!
So great! Beautiful reaction review..,. To a beautiful song. Thank you.
I live for 6:38
Tetrastructural Minds a good example of their Thrash, harmonic melodies and vocal range.
Echoless Chamber if you want gnarly awesomeness and cool lyrics.
Let me add both songs to hear them!
@@Temporal72 I'm excited for you >:D
Vektor is like if Trivium, Pink Floyd and Cradle of Filth got in an unholy orgy. Check out Charging the Void, there's a call back to that in this song but really every track is extraordinary.
Haha nice description, I will check that song out!
More like Death + Cradle of Filth + Megadeth + Pink Floyd
You should listen to the song Nocturne by the band Hexen :)
Let me add it to the list of the next reactions 😎
all Vektor is incredible. Unfortunate that the band could stay together.
