The store could have given her the hat and gloves….they were cheap generic ones. They could have listed them as damaged. The woman was clearly in need of some help. They throw far higher value items in the skip. The woman obviously understands that she shouldn’t just take them. Sometimes you get desperate. Any one of us could find ourselves in a similar position.

kudos to the officer that bought the young lady the toque and gloves that she got caught trying to steal ,she was honest enough ,when the officer asked if she had any goods on her she immediately upped the gloves and hat. so he cut her some slack ,.good going nice to see a positive story for police to serve and prtect

It really needs to be said?! 🤦🏼♀️ The thought of what could have happened to that innocent little one. Trafficking is a real thing. Possibly hit by a car because of how dark it was and the dark clothing the child was wearing. Luckily she got safely to the store and the store keeper was a good honest man. It’s terrifying to think what could have happened and how lucky the child was.

I actually do not think the hat and glove theft video should be here 💯 Everyone in the video was just doing what they had to... The homeless lady was stealing to stay alive in the cold, she was clearly scared, and yes,hesitant to answer, but she didn't go to any real length to try to lie and decieve them, the employee and the officer, were simply doing their jobs, but their compassion for this woman is easy to see. As I was watching, I thought, "this employee has already stated that she does not want to press charges, OMG she's going to ask the cop if she can buy them and give them to her!" But NO! in the surprise that I DID NOT SEE COMING 💯 IT'S THE OTHER WAY AROUND!! The officer asks the employee, if HE can buy them for her! 💯❤️ I am not joking, or writing some fake review for clout, I LITERALLY shed a tear, and applauded my tv! 💯 (well the man and employee that were on it lol) THIS IS NOT DISTURBING... It's not entrapment if literally all they're doing is placing a nice car somewhere and keeping it unlocked. They're not sending them emails, or any kind of notifications or even placing flyers with arrows and maps anywhere.
