Pay the workers more or lose customers too.
Yes
Honestly the world we live in is corrupt everyone except for the small guys basically lie about almost everything.
it's not about pay it is the tracking of their every movement to demand adherance to a ridiculous level of productivity
If woolies drop the price I would still love to shop there.
Some places need this i work at a place where people think they can hide and smoke 10 ciggerettes a day while everyone else is working. Alot off people lifting up the lighter boxes so the others do all the heavier stuff alot games the staff play and now they want more money lolllllll they get paid 38 an hour and if your casual you get 44. Give me the job ill start tomorrow
Woolworths, you should pay the workers fair and treat the customers with respect at least Aldi treats their customers we respect and they’re cheaper
whats a fair price?
it's not about pay it is the tracking of their every movement to demand adherance to a ridiculous level of productivity
Why track workers to the point if severe anxiety? It's un-Australian.
Woolworths have been ripping off customers farmers etc for years, and they pay a decent rate.
Woolworths need to treat their workers better.
Does the Woolies ceo not realise that there are UWU delegates that work in the warehouses, I used to work in the warehouse sin Wyong and I'll tell you one thing the productivity requirements are unreal and you are being tracked the whole time you're at work
the wage isn't the issue, it is the ridiculous tracking of staff and their work
Customers arn't disapponted, they want Woolie workers paid properly.
I agree with you
They get 38 an hour and casual they get 44 an hour
😂 i bet this comments section will be closed within a minute. eastern standard time 19:47 on Wednesday the 4 Dec We are never allowed to comment on Australian media in Australia - some junior forgot to block comments 😂😂😂
Censorship in Australia is so extreme in can be considered the same as a Dictatorship.
This is the only media channel allowing comments at the moment, unbelievable
That's because of a High Court ruling that made media companies in Australia responsible for the comments made by others under their social media posts. As such, most media companies consider it safer to turn off comments or only leave them open so long as they have a moderator available.
I agree. They always take it off. To hide what people are really thinking
I feel this is going to happen here in NZ. Claims things are cheaper/going to be and yet, everything's expensive still, literally see staff everywhere in several I've been to non-stop stacking shelves, just in general they look severely stressed.
Do they not realise that fair work approved their conditions and pay rate in the first place
If Woolworths is paying people 40% above award wage that is fair. More than fair. Think the workers know they’ll be able to get more striking at a hectic time of year.
I think that was their plan, ransom has always worked well.
The ceo is lying it's all damage control don't trust them of course they are never going to admit to it.
It's not about pay it is about unreasonable demands on how productive they are
Workers are not just a number they shouldn't be treated like robots with tracking tech were alot of companies are going . Push push regardless of safty.
I worked for woolworths for 32yrs they are stand over merchants ask the workers and growers
Does albo and cronies have shares.w.t.f.
Woolworths owned by Blackrock - Albo's boss
It's going to happen to every big companies like banks
Fair work is in collusion with big business.
They get paid plenty
We're some of the highest paid workers in the world. The problem is the cost of living.. There's no relief, or relief which seems to have some type of impact.. tax cuts to the high end of town and then the now no longer "middle" class (who have become lower class now almost pretty much) have to foot the bill for all of it. Which are the people making the country run.
It's a shame really. I speak to many various people on a daily basis face to face and some of the elder ones are sad at what our country has become. We used to make everything etc etc.. but that's what MONEY and RESOURCES does..
China were smart in that aspect and now the world pretty much relies on them.
GG!
it's not about pay it is about working conditions

Hate people like this women. She is making a squillion dollars but acts like the workers are the problem. They have lost more than the payrise would of cost. In regards to the safety concerns, what would she know about the measures affecting safety, no chance she has ever worked a second on a warehouse floor.
40% above award rates 😂
