Sorry to correct you but It's not a new Model Y, It's for the French Pro Market. It's not done by Tesla but by a French Company called Gruau. You have to buy the Y from Tesla unmodified and the French compagny Gruau will take out the 3 back seats and make the modification. In most EU country a 2 seater is a Utility vehicule and allows the pro user deduct the VAT of his Tax declaration and they have a flat annual rate tax as well. However some of them will be display in some French tesla centers. Greetings from Belgium.
No Richard is right about the new Model Y. The news on the two seater Model Y came out last week and if you would have listened you would have heard Richard say it’s coming out of France.
Seems like a joint effort. A Tesla Executive says "Tesla has developed a 2-seater Model Y..."

Great question. I was thinking the same thing and decided to purchase a 2022 Model Y LR for 34K to avoid all the depreciation that I experienced when purchasing my 2023 Model 3 LR. I'm happy with my purchase as the 2022 MY LR has the parking senors and steering wheel stocks. I understand the logic regarding waiting for Juniper and getting the latest and greatest, but we all know Tesla is going to play games with the pricing. Those who purchase the Juniper refresh out of the gate will be under water quickly on their payments if they finance and not put down 20 to 30 percent in cash. I used the M3 for my work commutes and we use the MY for long road trips because it has more space and rides higher.

Love your vids, always packed with nuggets of info! The only thing I did wish for the Y, is that the color pallet was always available for all models, from jump street! Other than that, I’m curious to see exactly when the new Y rolls out…as I physically seen the new 3 on the road in front of me yesterday…
I want fsd but it makes me mad that I can’t transfer it to new car.

I have full control of my tesla on my Samgung Galaxy Watch 4... we've had apps for about 2 yrs now. I can also use my watch as a key.
I owned MYLR 7 seats + FSD. 2021. wit h 127k miles. I may consider a lease for X for the next 3 years until Tesla call my # for the Cyber Truck. Though I would prefer an refresh X with 48volt and steer by wire.
